"Don't forget your assignments, and study as much as you can." Mr. Small yelled as the swarm of teenagers tried to get out of class as fast as possible immediately the bell went, I got my stuff together and sat back down on my seat as i watched them shove one another trying to get out through the small door, i was not joining them, because me being me

1) was too lazy

          and

2)could not be bothered

i looked on in horror as one student was pushed to the floor and basically trampled by everyone else, i felt bad for him and really wanted to help buuuut

1)i was too lazy

          and

2)i could not be bothered

I averted my gaze from the poor boy and began to stare at a small blue bird that had landed on the window

"Hey" my thoughts were interrupted by the black haired boy, i turned to him and smiled as he plopped down on the stool next to me, by now everyone had left the class except Mr. Small, who i was now staring intently at, hoping i could use the force to get him to leave

just as i was getting tired he stood up with his coffee mug, and left

Behold! The power of the force!!

"What was that?" he said with muffled laughter

"What was what?" i asked confused

"Something about the force" he says and i turn bright red as i realize what i did

"Shit, i was thinking out loud again"

"So why did you say that?" he asked, amusement clearly written all over his face

"Shut up Landon" i said and he chuckled, before we enter a really awkward silence, till i just had to break it by saying something smart and witty

"Last time on Zach talking to Carli about God knows what." I suddenly say,my voice mimicking those reality show hosts, real smart Carli, real smart

"Oh, right where was i... so i was thinking, maybe you would, i mean you and i could hangout sometime, maybe grab lunch or dinner, or we could see a movie, or maybe just a walk in the park..." he says, looking everywhere but my face as his cheeks turn an adorable shade of pink, It takes me a second to process everything he said... Zach Landon just asked me out

I have got to be dead

"Does that mean no?" he askes with a fallen expression

"N-no, what did i even say?"

"That you had got to be dead"

"Call me Ed Sheeran"

"Oh... so is that a yes?"

"This... like a date?" i ask a small smile tugging at my lips, he chuckles and smiles, running a hand through his black hair before nodding once

"Yeah, a date" he says and I- i- don't know!! :) :) :)

"Uh sure, I don't see why not, might be fun" i say with a huge smile plastered across my face, he smiles too, and my smile widens, i didn't even know it was possible, but it did

"Cool, how about this Friday?"

"Sounds good"

"Great!... see you around?"

"Definitely" i say and he smiles before pulling me into a hug, taking me by surprise, it takes a second for me to respond but i wrap my arms around his torso anyway

When he finally releases me we stand up and say our good byes, as soon as he leaves i pick up my bag and leave, but as soon as i pass the threshold of the door i notice Josh leaning up against the wall, staring back at me

"How long have you been standing there" I ask as i begin to walk to history class, another class we have together

"Long enough to hear that you're going out with Zach Landon rhis Friday" he says, theres no joy in his tone as he says this so i stop and turn to him and he also stops and stares back

"What?" he askes

"why aren't you happy for me?"

"Who said I'm not?"

"Josh"

"I don't want you going out with that guy"

"Why? aren't you guys friends?"

"Yeah but.."

"But what?"

"He- he's like me"

"What? A player?"

"We were talking about Zach, not me"

"Ok... but he seems like a really nice guy"

"And he is, but he hasn't been able to keep a relationship past two weeks, and not to mention that the's slept with half the population of girls in this damn school"

"So have you"

"Carli" he says sternly

"Fine i'll stop, geez... Jut give him a chance this once, and if he messes up you can..."

"Tear him to shreds... and besides, i can trust you, you're grown"

"Ew, you sound like Alex"

"Whatever... I'm helping you pick out your outfit"

"You'll dress me up all slutty"

"Exactly!"

"How is that a good thing?"

"If i leave you too it you'll look like a nun from Halloween"

"That is so not true"

"Sure whatever, but its your first date, ever, so i want you to look good"

"Okay, whatever you say"
