The two lovers in this story are Betty Cooper and Jughead Jones. Two people finding there love for each other. As perfect isn't perfect and Betty has finally found herself. Jughead is helping her every step of the way. Until.......

Riverdale is a small town divided in half by the North side and the south side. "Perfect" Betty raised by the "perfect" family on the North side. By her parents Alice and Hal Cooper. Meanwhile Jughead born on the wrong side of the tracks. The Southside mainly taken care of by the serpents while is alcoholic dad does so much much as look at him.

Betty doesn't want to be this perfect girl wearing these nice pink floral clothes. But she has to put on an act for her parents so she won't get hurt. But she is still getting hurt she can't be herself and wants to be serpent. Wants to get to wear the dark clothes she wants. And most of get to talk to the guys she has had a crush on for years. Forsythe Pendleton Jones the third or as everyone else calls him Jughead. But she is being forced to date Archie Andrews. Betty and Archie are best friends and he understands what betty wants he just goes along with it so she won't get hurt.

Jughead has always taken a liking in Betty but figured she would never talk too a serpent not even someone from the south side. Jug is very lonely even though he is with a different girl every other week nothing is real. Jughead just wants to feel loved and he doesn't even have parents to make him feel loved.

This is all until one day at pops chock lit shoppe ......

J: * just walks in*
B: I better get going thanks pop
PT: no problem
B&J: *run into each other*
B: sorry *picks up his book*
J: it's ok *picks up her phone*
They give each other their stuff back
J: I'm jughead... jughead-
B: Jones I know. Chem Class I'm Betty Betty-
J: Cooper. I know chem class
Both start laughing
J: mind if we exchange numbers
B: sure here's my phone
J: *puts his number in her phone*
B: *puts her number in his phone
