Julie's POV

'My heart melted. My eyes were filled with upcoming tear of happiness, I supposed. That was such a beautiful way to tell me he loved me.

"I love you, Jules," Evan spoke softly.

"I love you, too," my voice broke a little.

Then he kissed me with so much love, I felt like I was floating away from Earth to the planet of happiness. Ok that was a bit cheesy back there but that's me, I would always be cheesy Jules and he would always be my dark poet.

I didn't want this moment to end but unfortunately it had to. He broke away from me.

"We should be heading back Jules. They will be missing us."

"Ok."

We walked back through the forest to Evan's backyard where everyone was still in the water apart from Shane who still looked half dead. He was hung over but that is no excuse not to be having fun. Evan came up from behind me and carried me bridal style over to the pool.

"I though you said you wouldn't throw me into the pool!" I asked very seriously trying not to laugh. Well as serious as I could be around my boyfriend. He continued walking with me in his arms as though I wasn't heavy.

"That was then and now is now." At this moment we were standing over the pool. He raised his arms as though to drop me, before being thrown up I braced myself for the ice cold water. So when I felt warm arms on my legs and upper back I shivered. "You… actually thought… I would… drop you?" He said between laughing.

"Truthfully?" He nodded. "Yes, I actually thought you would drop me into the pool." I said hoping that he would notice the sarcasm in my voice.

I felt myself being thrown up again but just when he caught me last time I felt no arms surrounding me so I fell straight into the freezing water. I coughed and spluttered my way up to the surface of the pool, I stared at Evan wishing he were dead at the moment and all he could do was laugh. His laugh was incredibly sexy but totally inappropriate. He offered his hand out to me to help me out of the pool and I took this as my chance to get back at him for this. I grabbed his hand and propped my feet up against the wall of the pool to have as much strength as I could to pull him in. I pulled and he lost his balance and toppled into the pool. I heard everyone else cheering me on. I did a mini cheer to myself in my head. I can't believe it worked. Evan arose from the depths of the pool and I panicked. I was about to get out of the pool when he started swimming toward me. I hurried out and grabbed my towel. He did the same so I bolted inside trying to get away from him. I ran up the stairs and locked myself in the closest bedroom which turned out to be his. Damn no lock.

"Jules let me in now!!" His voice was so serious. I could tell there was something else on his mind not just the pool incident. "Jules I'm serious let me in." I tossed up my options.

1. Me opening the door and getting destroyed for the pool incident

2. Him banging down the door and getting destroyed for not opening the door and the pool incident

3. Me not opening the door

Or 4. Me opening the door and hopefully not get destroyed for the pool incident.

Me being myself inched closer to the door and hoped for number four. I got almost to the handle when I saw a box on Evan's bedside table. It was too small for pretty much anything but I had never noticed it before. I put in under my side of the bed and walked to the door. Evan rushed in and gave me a hug.
