Chapter 7

I squeezed my eyes shut and heard a loud, punching noise. My vision beneath my eyes became brighter.
I opened them.
My eyes widened in shock, Asano was on the ground holding his cheek in pain.

I look up from Asano to see a red-headed figure loom towards me.

"A-akabane?" I mumbled.
Sh*t why did I stutter?

"You alright, thought the princess may need rescuing.~" He teased.

I glared at him before saying; "I has the situation under control, thAnk you!"

He placed his free hand in his pocket, "yeah right."

"Tsk" I mumbled before walking away. I felt a sudden pressure on my wrist and was jolted backwards. My wrist was raised and I was about 4cm away from Akabane's face.
"Not even a thank you, princess?" He smirked.
"You perv" I shook my hand away from his and started headed home.

I was almost at my house when I heard soft footsteps behind me.
I turned around to find the same red-headed strawberry behind me, his hand outstretched, as if to tap my shoulder. "Hm?" I said glaring at him.
His eyes widened before saying;
"Hey, princess."

"What do you want, Akabane?" I irritably said, knocking hid outstretched hand downwards.
"Are you stalking me it something?"

"No~" he teased. "We just happen to be walking in the same way!" He placed his hands into his pockets.

Annoyed, I turned around and stared walking towards my house, suddenly, I saw a black car parked outside my house.
Dang it, how am K going to get out of this situation?

"Hey~ don't leave me" karma pouted before walking towards me.

"Can you leave me alone?" A grumbled. Making my pace faster towards the car.

"Rude much, princess~" he whispered into my ear, my heart skipped a beat.
"Awh~ did you get all flustered?"
I felt my cheeks burn and turn red.
I noticed I was right outside my house.

"Drop the nickname, I-I'll see you tomorrow.." I stuttered, I walked towards the car and opened the door.
Why the hell did I stutter?
"Where are you going?" He called.

I ignored him and hopped in the car.
"Hey, what are you doing here without warning?" I asked, before plugging in my seatbelt.

"Without warning? I called you about 10 times?!" The driver called out.

I pulled my phone and noticed 10 missed calls.
"Eh, sorry H..." I mumbled. "Anyway, what am I doing tonight?"
"We're doing out to a restaurant, I need you to assassinate the owner. He's been suspicious of kidnapping young woman who come into his restaurant." H said in disgust. He then proceeded to throw some clothes Into the backseat. "Here, change"

"Right, so the plan is, you pretend you're my daughter and you'll act all lovey-dovey over him, Kay?" He said with ease. "I'll leave early and wait outside in the car.."

"Jeez, this sounds like you've been planning this for days." I mocked before slipping on a bracelet.

We arrived at out destination, a fancy, yet subtle restaurant was in front of us. I stepped out, my h/c h/L hair flowed in the soft breeze. My f/c silk dress danced in time with the wind.
"Ready?" H said.
"As I'll ever be.." I said while adjusting my hair.
