Daughter of Posiedon

My name is Reagan, I have dyslexia and I'm a adhd, I'm 13, my mom died when I was six and I have never met my father. I woke up this morning and this is how my day started. I woke right up and changed into a black spaghetti strap under a teal t-shirt that hugged me but was comfortable, black leggings and blue converse. I straightened my hair and did my makeup. I grabbed my binder for school and my foster mom took me and my foster sister to school,my foster sisters name is Haley, she is for years younger than me so she is still in elementary.

My foster mom's name is Britney. Just between me and you I don't think she likes me. Its probably because I keep getting expelled from every school I go to, it started in about 5th grade, but it could also be because I don't like her. When I got to I went straight to my best friend Caitlin who was talking to her boyfriend Patrick. We all talked for a while till the first bell rang, we all have Latin together so we all went and sat next to each other.

The school day went on as normal. Britney came to pick me up, when we got home she handed me an envelope with my name on it in my favourite color blue. I went up to my room I closed the door and read the letter. I'm just going to sum it up. It was from my father. He said that I needed to go to the address listed and he also said I would see Caitlin there to guide me the rest of the way, I needed to pack for the whole summer.

That was all of it. I went to tell Britney but apparently she all ready knew. She told me to be ready in one hour. So i grabbed my black suitcase and folded my close in there. i got a jaw string bag and put my addis, converse, and Nike slides in there.

i put my makeup and toiletry's in a bag and put them in my suitcase. Britney drove me to the address. the address was just a hill with a single pine tree i walked up the hill and just like the letter said i saw Caitlin. she said "welcome to camp half blood.","half what?" i said. we started to walk while she said Chiron will explain.

we walked to a big house painted sky blue. there i saw a bearded man,half horse half man. "hi I'm Chiron, your obviously new so i will let the video explain it all." said the man. he showed me to a room and i watched a video. after the video i thought i was going crazy.

the video said that the Greek gods were real and that i was a demigod,  half god half mortal. i went back to Caitlin she said that its all true and she and Patrick were a demigod to. she said only demigods cam make it this far past the barrier as she pointed towards the single pine tree. Chiron walks back over, " i know this is alot to take in ", said Chiron "but Caitlin will take you to cabin 11 where you will stay till your godly parent claims you, which will probably happen at the bonfire". Caitlin led me to the cabins, each looked different, there were 12 in the shape of an u.

we walked into one of them and one of the kids said "unclaimed","yep" said Caitlin and the whole cabin sighed. The bonfire came fast. i sat at the same table as the rest of the kids from cabin 11. Chiron walked in and said "good evening campers, tonight we have a new camper. her name is Reagan Jackson." as he pointed towards me. i blushed then stopped as i saw a boy start to stare at me in awe.

he looked about 17. he had dark black hair, sea green eyes which were the exact shade as mine and i thought that we could have been twins except for me being younger and him having black hair and mine being blonde. everyone gasped in awe. just as Chiron said, "looks like we have another child of the big three". i looked up and saw a glowing trident above my head.

i looked over at the boy, he was sitting alone. he shakes his head almost like he is trying to say that this cant be possible. "you all may proceed as normal." said Chiron then he motioned for me. i got up and went to him. "well looks like i was right, you may go meet your new sibling." said Chiron as he pointed towards the boy sitting alone, "after the bonfire you may get your stuff and move into your new cabin, you can ask your brother to show you around tomorrow".

i nodded, then walked over to my "brother". i sat next to him. we sat in silence for a while then i finally spoke up and said "looks like were siblings". "ya... your last name is the same as mine. do you happen to know your mom? oh and by the way my names Percy." said the boy. "hi my names Reagan and no i was living in a foster home but i do have the faintest memory of her, i think her name was ...Stacy.","sally"said Percy. "ya, how did you know?" i said " i know because that's my mom".

we sat there for a few more minuets then i say "i guess that makes us full blooded siblings". Percy nodded. i look over at a corner and see a boy walk out of the shadows. he looked about 14.he has black hair and olive skin, and obsidian eyes. he looked over at me and i felt so much heat rush to my cheeks i thought i was going to have a stroke. i ask Percy who he is, he said that he is a child of Hades, the god of death, and his name is Nico.

i want to go talk to him but this is not the time. he must have noticed me staring cause he blushed and looked away. Chiron announced that we would be playing capture the flag tomorrow. capture the bonfire i went to cabin 11 to get my stuff and moved into my new cabin. the cabin smelled like the ocean. after i unpacked i brushed my teeth, took off my makeup, and was about ready to lie down when Percy said "i saw how you looked at him. i know you like him." i blushed and tried to deny it but there was something about Nico i just couldn't let go of. "Percy" i said "whats capture the flag? Percy said "its capture the flag with swords. just stick with me okay." i fell asleep and had no dreams.

i woke upto a knocking on the cabin door. i answered the door and its Caitlin. "get your clothes on, dint put on makeup or nothing pretty then come down to the Aphrodite cabin". so i threw on jeans and a shirt, brushed my teeth then went to Caitlin's cabin. the cabin was so neat and organized."come with me." said one of the girls. she led me to a closet and handed me these black boots, black skinny jeans, and a white spaghetti strap with a green shirt. she told me to get dressed so i did. after that they curled my hair and put a little makeup on.

i said bye and thank you to Caitlin. later we played capture the flag. there were two team captains. Percy and Nico, Percy chose me. Percy told me i would guard the flag while he is on the battle field. i got a sword that had a blue handle. we took our positions, there was no one around me. i heard someone yell "go". for the first five minuets i thought that this would me easy. apparently i thought wrong. the actual fight began when i turned around and saw Nico right behind me. i grip my sword and swing it towards him. he anticipated that and and used his sword to block the hit. i went to hit him but he knocked my sword out of my hand.

just as my sword hit the ground he pointed the tip of his sword at my throat. i clenched my fist with anger. i closed my eyes and when i opened them all i could see was Nico chocking and sopping wet. for a minuet i wondered how that happened then a voice in my head said "the water is powerful for you more than your brother, it will heal you and give you strength." i looked over to my left to see Percy sword fighting with a girl. she had blonde wavy hair and gray eyes. they seemed to be a good match at fighting. Percy was carrying the other teams flag he tossed me it. i waked with the flag up to our flag and i planted it in the ground. Percy walked over to me, as he passed through the river between us he looked as if he had just been blessed by the gods with strength.

i helped Nico up who was chocking up water. then i turned around and asked Percy if he was able to control water. he said "yes, its a Poseidon thing. being the god of water." i gave him a hug. for the first time in forever i feel i actually have sibling who gets me. Percy walked back over to the girl. i felt a tapping on my shoulder, i turn and see that its Nico. i blush, i had never expected the guy i like would talk to me nor had i wanted this to happen. "hi" i said. he said "that was pretty cool what you did back there".

"thanks" i said. he turned away, as he did i could barley make out what he said but he murmured "so are you". he walked into the darkness and vanished i smiled. i wouldn't stop. Percy yelled my name, he asked if i wa going back to the cabin. i said yes. when i got back to the cabin i laid on my bed, stayed there all day, day dreaming of Nico. i didn't eat that night. i fell asleep and had no dreams for the second day in a row witch was really unusual.
