This is it. Today's the day. It's Friday. Election Day. I had already casted my vote. Us. Everyone involved has been on edge today, so I've heard. Though Andy and I haven't talked since Tuesday, Juliet has told me he's been stressed. Even I'm a little nervous. I didn't really want to talk to anyone today. Not even Jake or Juliet. I just wanted to be alone. Or have my friend back. Either one works.

In all the classes Andy and I shared, he moved away from me. Teachers didn't really question it, but students definitely raised a brow. It really hurt that he couldn't even sit near me, let alone next to. Today to save him the trouble, I skipped my 5th period Forensics class and had lunch with Jake and his friends. I didn't really engage. He knew I wasn't in the mood so he only kissed my head a couple of times, rather than trying to converse with me. My actual lunch period, I didn't even bother going to. I went to Mr. Ferrah's to work on another art project. I've been working on a painting of a city that Ferrah wants to have in an art show that's in November or December. I'm honored that he wants me in it again. It is relaxing, and I worked a little over the bell. Theater class was kind of boring. All we did was improv, and I didn't participate. So, there goes 10 points down the drain.

Now it's eighth period. Psychology. I was sat in my usual seat, Andy moved to the back. Dr. Goochee's lesson was crazy, as always, but I didn't really want to bothered with his antics. He kept throwing paper planes and plastic brains at me so try to keep me from not paying attention, but I nearly cursed him out. I wasn't in the mood. He got it.

With ten minutes left of the school day, and Goochee pretty much done his lesson, the afternoon announcements came on.

"Good afternoon, students and staff. This is Ashley Costello with your PM announcements..."

My heart started to beat faster. Class Council would be announced any minute now... The shifting of the desk next to me startled me a bit. I looked up and there was Andy. I was kind of shocked. I missed having him in this seat.

"...Congrats to the winner of Senior Class Secretary and Treasurer. This was a rather tough run this year for Senior Class President and Vice President. It was a pretty dirty one too, from what I've witnessed..."

Andy took my hand in his and squeezed. I squeezed back.

"...Seniors, your President and Vice President are... Christian Coma and Ashley Purdy. Congratulations!..."

I frowned. Them?! What the hell! Those goof balls won? I would rather Jake and Jinxx win. I looked over at Andy. He looked surprisingly... Calm. Too calm. "Do you want to get pizza after school? I'm going with Matt Good and Juliet," he asked.

"U-Uh, yeah, sure. Bandini's?"

"Yeah." The bell rang. "So, I'll see you in ten?" we got up.

"Sure thing."

"Hella," he smirked, "See you there."

"Rad," he smiled back. We parted was and I headed back to my locker. Jake was already there, waiting for me.

"Hey baby," he smiled and kissed my cheek.

"Hey."

"Looks like neither of us won," he chuckled.

"Yeah. I can't believe they won, though. They're nice guys, but what are they going to do for the school? Give out free fireballs everyday?"

"We'll see how everything turns out," he shrugged.

"I just don't want to have a shitty senior year because they don't know how to run things around here."

"Hm," he wrapped his arms around my waist from behind me, "Changing the subject, are you free on Sunday?" He muttered before kissing my neck.

"Yeah, why?"

"Do you think you can help me move in?"

I chuckled and looked at him. "Is that supposed to be code for something else?"

"Mmm," he moaned before pressing his lips to mine. "No, I seriously meant move in. To my apartment."

I laughed, "Alright. Just text me the details. I gotta run, okay?"

"Me too. I have band practice. I'll call you later," he smiled.

"Okay babe. See you," I kissed his cheek and shut my locker.
