Tae drove into the familiar neighborhood nervous out of his mind as he pulled up to the house he grew up in. The black-haired male showed up a day after Seojoon got back, able to convince Hyoreon that he couldn't come earlier because something for school had come up.
Taehyung walked up to the door and fixed the hoodie he'd stolen from Jeongguk before ringing the doorbell. The door quickly opened to reveal Seojoon. Taehyung squealed before hugging him tightly, making sure not to hurt the baby in the process. The two went into the house and went to the kitchen where Hyoreon was.
The older Kim was so focused on her cooking that she didn't even realize that the doorbell had rung or that Taehyung was there until she felt arms wrap around her waist and felt a kiss on her cheek.
"Hi mommy." Taehyung said, a smile evident in his voice. He let go of Hyoreon as she turned around and hugged her son properly.
The hoodie was so big that she didn't really notice the changes Taehyung had gone through and Taehyung mentally let out a breath of relief at that.
Well, that was until Hyoreon narrowed her eyes at him.
"So Tae you said had a surprise. What is it?" Hyoreon said, teasing the younger.
"Well, it's a really big one so I think you two should sit down." Tae said, the two obeying and walking to the living room sitting on the big comfy couch.
"Okay so here's the surprise." Taehyung said before taking a deep breath "I'm pregnant."
" TAEHYUNG HOW DARE YOU-
NOT TELL ME THIS SOONER!" Hyoreon yelled, making the brothers flinch at the sudden change in volume.
"You know I've always wanted grandchildren." Hyoreon said, getting up and hugging the youngest Kim.
Seojoon just sat there, gears visible turning in his head as he tried to figure out what to say until he came up with something.
"I'm happy for you Tae. Im going to be the best uncle ever." Seojoon said, smiling brightly at the younger.
"Well you have a lot of competition so better be on your A-game." Taehyung said, shaking his head playfully.
"How far along are you? I don't ever remember you telling me about you being in a relationship, who's the father? Are you excited? What about school?" Hyoreon asked quickly, confusing Taehyung a little.
"I'm 2 almost 3 months in, I'm super excited, school is going well and I'm managing very well with the help of my friend Maj who's also pregnant and about the relationship thing...." Tae said, voice starting to trail off.
"What happened?" Seojoon asked, starting to get protective of his little brother.
Taehyung sighed before explaining the whole situation to his family. Telling them about Miyoung, Jeongguk, his anxiety, and everything in between.
"Well looks like I'm gonna have to beat some ass." Seojoon smiled while cracking his knuckles.
"Hey hey, none of that. Jeongguk and I are working on it we forgave each other, he cleared up the situation and we're okay. He comes to my house every other day to check on us, even being there for Maj if she needs it since her situation is a little different than mine and we're just going with it. We still have a lot of love for each other I just don't want to bein in a relationship right now, he promised me that he'd wait." Taehyung explained to his brother.
"Well just know his name is still on the list just in case he fucks up." Seojoon said, Hyoreon nodding in agreement.
The Kims were truly a crazy bunch.
