CHAPTER 4

                  Chapter 4

      We walked back to school the put my stuff in my locker and Mason went to get dressed for practice. He waited by my locker. As we walked back Mason arm was around me again. When we entered the field the rest of Mason team stared at me.

 “Hey I said I had a surprise. She’s my surprise.” The guys stared at me. One said

“Well she’s nice and all but why her?” Mason thought for second then said

“Well she hot and dangerous.” I smiled

“well if you’re fine with that okay let’s get down to practice.” Another said. I went to forest to watch in wolf form. I turned and sat the edge and sent thoughts to Mason.

When practice was over I turned back and went straight to the parking lot, waiting by Mason car.

“Hey you get away from my buddy’s car!” I looked to see if I had the right car it was Mason’s. Then I looked around to see a tall guy standing a couple inches away. he was in our art class. I leaned against the car.

“Hey! I told you get away from the car! He is not going to talk to you!”

 The dude said again grabbing my wrist.

“Well Mason will talk to me!” I said getting annoyed and feeling my wrist get hurt. “You’re annoying you know so get away now! Mason does not like girl like you!”

 He said twisting my wrist and I cried out in pain. Mason came around behind me.

“Jason let go of her now!” Mason said with eyes narrowed. He let go and I fell into Mason arms and kissed him on the cheek as a thank you. The voices I heard from the rugby team started saying

“Jason if you didn’t miss practice you would have found out that’s Mason’s girl.” Mason saw me clutching my wrist.  Then he said

“you’re glad I don’t beat you up! Don’t miss practice anymore or you are off the team!” Mason said.

Jason started to protests but the other guys drag him away.

“I owe you now.” I said grateful that Mason came when he did.

“Are you hurt? Did Jason hurt you?” Mason said still worried.

“Fine. It’s okay lets get home now.”

When we came home there was a note. That said that went to cavern. I was confused. Mason looked at me and went to our room. He tossed me my bikini.

“Well Mase are we going swimming?” I asked while Mason came out of the bathroom with his shirt off. I put my bikini on. “Alice, I know you don’t want to share.” He tisked me. I stuck my tongue out and in return got picked up.

“Really! You had to pick me up!” I said.

“Yes I do, plus you ask too many questions.” Mason said not wanting to put me down. I turned to wolf form, his body could not hold me and let go. As soon as he did I turned back.

“Ha, let’s see you catch me now.” Running out the door with Mason at my tail. Thoughts racing through my mind. I stopped at entrance of a large cave. Mason right there next to me and the rest of our family splashing around. My wolf was tugging to come out. I cringed. I shifted but the pain didn’t go away.

            My wolf eyes try to look at Mason but they were focused on yellow eyes in the back of the cave. I gave a strong warning growl. It stepped out of the shadows. It was Chase, but wasn’t he in Lance’s pack?

“Alice Can I join your pack?”  His eyes pleading me. My pack this was Mason’s. He looked at me too. I answered

“My pack? What are you talking about?” He lifted one eyebrow

“Well I could see you turned immediately you sensed danger. You most of felt that lust to protect your pack right?”

 He was right I did but why was I the alpha.

“Oh shut up, what would you know.” Izzy brought with more disgust then ever.

“No you shut up, little cat, I know way more then you!” Chase shot back with the same disgust. My claws dug into the ground hard.

“You punk!” Izzy jumped out the water. Hands in fist hard and tight. Coming in full speed at Chase. Before I had response to the situation Mason was already in high speed mode going after Izzy to tackle her down. I couldn’t think everything was all coming around in a blur I then shouted

“STOP EVERYONE STOP!” This shocked me more then it shocked everyone else everyone frozen turn to stare at me I walked over to Mason his eyes on me alert and ready, Izzy let out at a quick but rough punch at Chase and but the put clenched fist at her sides as soon as she was done.

 “Now everyone this will be settled tomorrow.” Mason said in stern but not as much like a leader from when I first saw him here. Mason the turned swiftly to Chase.

“You skedaddle and leave me us. Meet us at the art room after school!”
