*beep beep*
*beep beep*I groaned, as I tried to find my phone to switch off my alarm.
What time is it? Why did I even put an alarm?
Ahh here is my phone. Now, let's get rid of this alarm.
But I realised it had already stopped.
Huh? Was it not an alarm?
I rubbed my eyes to get rid the sleep.
When I felt, I was awake enough, I looked at my phone, only to see that I got 30 missed calls from Taehi.
It's only 4 a.m. right now, why does she need to call me so early in the morning?
Oh, right now it's 7:30a.m. there.
Does this girl seriously forgot about the time zone difference?
Oh, whatever. I'll just call her back.
Just as I was about to call her,
Oh, she is calling again.
I accepted the call and held the phone to my left ear.
"Hello" I said.
"Miss, I am sorry to call you so early in the morning but it's an emergency." I can feel the panic in her voice. It washed away all the residual sleep in me. I was now fully awake.
"Calm down, Taehi" I said calmly even though her panic stricken voice got me a bit worried.
"Well the patient, she... she..." She was literally shaking while she tried to talk.
"Taehi!" I shouted at her.
Suddenly it was all silent.
I know she might be a bit taken aback because I normally don't loose my temper.
"Sweety, it's not like a psychiatrist to loose control over herself, how do you suppose to help other people calm down if you're so worked up yourself?" My voice was now a lot more calmer.
By now both Ishu and Chae have woken up and were now sitting beside me with a concerned face.
I feel so guilty for waking them up.
