He wanders aimlessly. Trying to think positive even tho its a futile endeavour.

"Stop it, would ya?"

The mouse stopped and stares.

"It's not like you're the only one who's worried", the cat continues.

"What do you think happen? She never this late"

They looked at the wall clock. 2.30am

"How could I know? All I know is that she's still in the Main House. Of course, with that bastard"

"Ma, ma. She's safe. Don't you worry"

The dog received glares after saying that. He just smiles, stupidly.

"Like I've said, he changed"

Back in the Main House.

Still in that position.

Silence.

No one spoke.

Just two pair of eyes staring each other.

"..."

He stares with a smirk.

"Scared, aren't you? Stupid girl"

Growl ~

He was shocked.

And so is she.

Tf was that sound?

He stares her again and again. But this time, with wide eyes. Unbelievable.

"I'm sorry. I skipped my lunch today. Or I didn't even have anything or a chance to eat today..", she trails, shy.

For a second, he still cannot believe the situation. After a few blinks, he stood. Went to a different corner of the room.

She sat up. Looking at the leader with curiosity.

" What is he doing? "

He faced the wall. Shoulders trembling. Fist clenching.

She put a hand on her stomach.

"Are you angry? I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be rude. It just I cannot help it. I'm really sorry, Akito-san", the girl bow down rapidly on the bed.

Seconds passed. Still without a sound from the boy.

It does make her uncomfortable. And scared.

She gained herself and stood up. Silently, she walked a couple steps in Akito's direction. She's afraid of what will happen, and of course running away is an option in the back of her mind. However thinking of the outcome, she didnt.

Unless she wants to unleash the greatest fury of the world.

Quietly, "Akito-san?"

"..."

"I'm sorry"

"..."

"You can be mad at me you know. Just don't be...quiet"

"Why are you so concern?"

His voice can hardly be heard. But she managed to get every word.

"It's just..", she stops.

What should I say?

That I don't like it?

Are you crazy, Tohru? You'll die.

"I don't like it. Not hearing your voice is just a thing I never want to think"

"You like hearing my voice that much, huh?"

His voice came out a little louder. Soft, smooth-princely.

Without a doubt, she nods.

He turned slowly.

Stammering, "Why are you red? Do you have a fever? Your eyes..you have tears"

Tohru is so shocked. She's hyperventilating.

"You're noisy, woman", saying while wiping his tears with his yukata, "You're an amazing one"

"No doubt, you're a baka"

"Really stupid. So stupid that makes me speechless sometimes"

I'm the one who speechless right now.

"Sometimes I just want to hang you in the ceiling"

Oi, you scared me.

"..but if I didn't see you or hear your stupid voice, the day would be worthless"

He looked at her. His eyes are something that he never ever did before. Full with passion, full with softness.

"What kind of spell do you use, witch?" He smiles.

Wide-eyed she is. She stares at him, incredulously.

He come closer. So close that there is absolutely no space left between their bodies. So close that their chest in an inch from each other.

So close that her heartbeats pounding loudly, filling the spacious room.

"Ne, are you still alive?" he whispers.

He even waves his hand in front of her face after seeing that she didn't blink nor moving. She was froze in the spot.

Sigh, "Baka" he poke her forhead.

"Ouch"

"Let's go to the dining room. As far as I'm thrilled to watch you die, at least not now. Not before the party" he moves.

She stares at his back and a couple seconds after, she follows.

Suddenly he stopped and turned.

"Eek" she bumped him.

Akito, stares at her. With unreadable expression.

"New rule. You are to stay here until the party ended. No questions"

"..."

"..and no objection" he smirked.

What???

"Curse me all you want. But I don't think you have a choice"

Matte. When did you become the one who made choices for me??

He turn to walk, "Now let's go eat. For a second, I never though I would have heard anything coming from a human sounding like that. What's that? Are you even a girl? Rumbling your stomach in front of a man. Such a shameful thing. I cant believe my ears. And I cannot believe my tears would come out for something like that even"

*imagination* So many arrows coming. Just shot right through her.

"Why is this so hurt?"

Matte. So, just now. I thought he was angry. But..

He was laughing?

"Oi. Faster, you baka" He's at the door, turning slightly, smiles evilly.

"Hai'"

I don't know what has happen, still. But somehow, I feel like Akito is not the Akito I've known.

And somehow,

I like it.
