Of course, not even starting school could deter the losers from challenging them. Those that went to their daycare knew not to mess with Katsuki and Zuku, but now there's more people who don't know when to back down. At least he could see Hitoshi and Shouto more.

Speaking of, it was currently lunch and the four of them were huddled around one of Zuku's notebooks in the cafeteria planning things like their hero costumes and names, when a group of fourth graders walked up to them.

"Oi babies," The leader snarled, "This is our table. Scram."

Katsuki just looked up at them, face perfectly neutral. He could see Zuku sigh as if he knew what was coming, closing his book. "I don't see any names on it."

"Hahh? I said scram! You four babies must have a death wish if you think you can take this table from us." Katsuki squinted at them.

"You may be bigger than us, but you don't really look like much."

"Kacchan it's the second day of school. Can we not get into any fights?"

"You think you could take us, punk?!" Oh, a display of their lame-ass quirks. Some spines, some rocks, some sort of light, and is that an elephant trunk? Laaaaame.

"You and your shitty quirks can meet me in the fuckING SANDPIT!" He slammed his hands on the table to emphasize his point. He swore he heard a "Goddam it Kacchan, not this again" but resolutely ignored it.

"You're on. Let's go."

The four of them had followed the fourth graders from the table to the yard, and into the sandpit.

"Zuku and I against you four. The two of us will be enough."

"Hah! The first grader thinks him and his skinny-looking friend will be enough to beat us!"

"Let's show 'em!"

"Yeah!"

"Katsuki, are you sure?" Hitoshi's quiet voice called from behind him. He could see Shouto looking concerned too.

He waved them off. "It's fine."

"Kacchan did this a lot in kindergarten. Don't worry about it."

"But- but we could help!"

"Hitoshi." He could hear the smile on Zuku's face. "We'll be fine. Neither of us want people to be mean when they learn your quirk. It's really cool and strong but lots of people won't think that."

"But-"

"And remember who my father is?" Katsuki managed to catch the wink thrown to their purple-haired friend. "I have tricks up my sleeve."

They waited for Hitoshi's acceptance, then stepped up to the sandpit. "So how're we doing this?"

"I'll use Solid Light and Speed Enhancement. If needed Glitch too, but I'll save that for our last resort. I'll be better against the one with the light and the one with the rocks."

"Let's go then."

The two groups stood facing eachother. "Standard rules? You're out if you touch the ground outside of the sandpit, give up, or are too hurt."

An ugly smirk made its way onto their opponents faces. "Sounds good to us brat."

It started with Katsuki launching himself at the kid with spines. He looked the easiest to deal with. One punch to the stomach (backed with an explosion) and he was knocked out of bounds. Katsuki was caught off guard, though, when a trunk was wrapped around his middle and he was flung. Ignoring the "What the-" followed by two thunks back to back from where Zuku was dealing with his two goons, Katsuki tried to launch himself back into the sandpit. His explosions weren't powerful enough damn it! He very suddenly found his feet back on the sand, and a quick look at Zuku revealed a blood nose and damn it he had to Glitch Katsuki back in. Well, there was a perfect victim for him to take his frustrations out on.

He could see the elephant kid gulp from here.
