The cave owner

From time to time, my heart doesn't feel right, or I don't feel alright. Bruno and I got cosy in the house of Dr Langford I think. I made us food,diner. White rice, salad and steak was what I made for dinner, although Bruno helped big time. This little boy is so helpful, I'm happy that I met him too soon and also angry at myself for meeting him even sooner with all this madness going on. After dinner, it was around 8 o'clock and I had no pajamas and so did bruno. I looked around through the window trying to see if I can see any close by store. "there's a store right around the corner from here, by the park" Bruno said, he noticed how I was snooping through the window. "Alright, come on, let's take a short trip to that store, hopefully we'll find something" I grabbed Bruno's hand and walked out.

We made a right turn about 200 ft from the house. It was really close by and we entered the store "how did you know what was here?" I asked Bruno. "I know almost every place here, I tend to landscaping through gps locators and location mind game" He explains, but I got nothing whatsoever, he's a genius, I'm telling you. I'm so glad that this kid is right by my side. He makes me feel so alive.

We got some pajamas and got some few things that we could use for the night. Since we got almost some cloths back at the house before the thugs attacked, so we don't need to buy a lot.

Bruno and I made our way back to the house. I opened the door, as soon as I entered, Bruno followed and closed the door behind us. "somebody's been here" I said. "I noticed too" Bruno agrees. Its clear to me that somebody knows where we are and that somebody might be a thug. and on the second thought, maybe is that doctor. I heard noise in the shower and I grabbed Bruno's hand and ready to leave.Then "oh hey, where did y'all go?" It was Dr Langford. So he lives here? "We went to get some things from the store" I reply. "don't go anywhere else,your risking too much" he said. "what do you know sir?" I reply with an attitude, the son of a bitch is acting like he knows what's going on and like he knows me. Back off, help us get through the night and I'll figure out the rest. "any news on sir,drake" Bruno cuts in before I could go off on that man. "he's in a great position" Dr Langford sured him. "you live here huh?" I asked him. "yeah, this is my home and you're welcome to stay as long as you would like" he offered. "it won't be long, really" I said taking the offer in the wrong hand. Maybe he's trying to help.

He got a phone call. "excuse me, I gotta take this" he excused himself so he can answer the phone. I moved on and got Bruno ready for bed. Then Langford comes back with a different facial expression. "what's going on?" I asked him. "drake is lost" he said. "what do you mean lost?" I asked him. "the nurse went to check on him, and then he was gone." he said. "gone, where could he go?he don't know any place around here" I said. what the fuck does he mean "gone". Thank God Bruno is asleep, he would not be able to sleep if he heard it. I can't sleep now. "you need to find him sir" I begged.
