I started out with an easy life. Two parents in a small apartment. My mother worked as a medical worker and my dad a construction worker. I grew up happy roller blading is crisp broken up dirt with no grass. Snow when it was a colder day. I never understood how crazy my life was going to be. But boy it is

I remember I had an air horn at the age of 6 now you would think a kid would run around blowing it until it was out of noise quite silent. But no mine had all the air I would blow it when my parents would get into an argument the only way my voice could be heard. On Valentine's Day my mom and I had left. We moved into a one bedroom house with large carpeted stairs just to get to the upstairs of the house. It was small you would open the dark green door with a small tile floor at the bottom then the stairs would meet you right there. You would climb up 20 stairs to the dining room right at the top of the stairs and when you turned to the left you had the living room which also was my bedroom. I never slept in my own bed there because when I was younger due to being scared of a break in. It was small but cozy my father would come see me every other day and I would stay at his house every Wednesday night and every other weekend. The small two bedroom apartment that I thought was home. But no it wasn't home.

At the age of 8 we found a beautiful town house it was broken down and needed a lot of work but it was all my mom could afford. My father had moved to D.C to make more money so I began to see him to just every other weekend. This new house became my home and I'm still here 10 years later. I have grown and learned so many valuable things. I remember the first day we moved in finally a tree had fallen down right in front of the door and my mom had thought I was scrambling in the boxes because of how quite the tree had fallen. As almost as quite it is outside then a small layer of snow forms on the ground with small snow falling around it collecting all of the sound. Just like how my body collects and processes everything that happens. " slow and quietly."
