"EVA!" my mom called from downstairs. I sat up in my bed and stretched my arms. today is the day I'm going to a different school. I live in Texas now, I use to live in California but my mom got a better paying job, I also had to leave my boyfriend Cameron behind. I really miss him.

Cameron is two years older than me, he graduated a year ago and he is currently going to college. I'm seventeen and I'm a junior in high school. my mom loves Cameron, she told me she wants me to marry Cameron because he has money. sometimes my mom and I butt heads because she says smart ass comments about Cameron.

Anyways, I stood up from my bed. "EVA!" my mom called again."I'LL BE DOWN IN A MINUTE" I yell back. I went into the bathroom and hopped into the shower. I turned the hot water on. It relaxed my tense muscles. I washed my hair. I shut off the water and wrapped a towel around me.

I walked out of my bathroom. I put on jeans and a white tank top. then to finish it off with a blue cardigan. I curled my long brunette hair. I put some makeup on that consist of mascara to make my grayish blue eyes pop, and some eyeliner. when I was finish I looked in the mirror. I looked good. I slipped on some brown flats. "EVA!" my mom called again. "COMING!" I call to her. I grabbed my phone and purse. I went downstairs.

My mom had breakfast made. she looked up at me from reading the newspaper. "breakfast has been ready for thirty minutes" she snaps at me. "sorry" I squeak. I grabbed a piece of toast. "BYE MOM!" I call before I walked out of the house. I walked up to my light blue Lamborghini. I opened the door and climbed in. I started it and the engine roared to life. I pulled out of the drive way.

On the way to school I turned the radio on. I tapped my fingers on the wheel as I drove to school. I pulled into the school parking lot, it seemed like everyone's eyes were on me. I kind of felt out of place. I parked my car. I got out and everyone was staring at me like they've never seen a Lamborghini before. I shook it off and walked up to the school. I walked into the office and got my schedule. I walked out, I was to busy looking at my schedule when all of a sudden I hit someone hard.

I fell to the floor. "watch where your going" a male voice growled at me. "s-sorry" I stutter. I stood up and the boy that snapped at me was standing there. he was tall, slim, had some muscle, he had brown hair, green/hazel eyes and a tattoo peeking out his shirt and his lip is pierced. he was wearing black jeans, a white shirt, and a black beanie. his green eyes met mine. he looked away and walked off. that was rude.

The bell rang and the hallway flooded with high school kids. I found my first class, English. there was an open seat by a brown headed boy. he smiled at me, I gladly returned the smile. I sat down, he looked at me. "Hi I'm Alex" he said then stuck his hand out for me to shake. I shook his hand. "I'm Eva" I said shyly. he smiled. "So I'm guessing your new" Alex asked. "yeah I moved here from California" I tell him. "wow that's cool, have you made any friends" he asked. I shook my head no. "well you have a friend now" he said with a smile. I smiled back and the bell rang for class to start.

At lunch I sat at a table with Alex and his friends. his friends were really nice and their girlfriends were even nice. Sarah is dating Alex, Cassie is dating Robert and Zach is single. poor Zach we all are taken except him. I bet if he met my best friend Hannah they would get along but unfortunately she's in California.

All of a sudden the cafeteria went silent and a group of boys walked in. there standing in the middle was the boy I ran into this morning. "hey Alex who's the boy in the middle" I asked with curiosity. "that's Austin, he was friends with us back in middle school but then he got in with the bad boys and now look at him" he said coldly. "wait you guys know him" I said turning to look at all of them. they nodded. "why" Sarah asked. "oh nothing I ran into him this morning and he was really rude" I say uneasy. they just shook it off and kept eating. Austin and his group walked by. Austin looked me in the eyes but then quickly looked away.

What the hell? I thought to myself. "What do you mean by bad boys" I asked the group. I'm a very curious and determined girl. so sooner or later I'm going to find out about this 'Austin'. Alex sighed. "he's in a gang now Eva and he's bad news just stay as far away as possible" Alex said protectively. I nodded and started eating lunch.

After lunch we all went back to class. I walked into biology and sat in the front. I looked over at the door and Austin walked in. he walked over and sat right next to me. I rolled my eyes and class started. "ok class we will be doing a project and who ever is sitting next to you is your lab partner". I looked to my right and no one was there so I looked to my left. great. I'm partners with Austin. Austin looked at me and gave me a disgusting smirk. I rolled my eyes.

"What's your name" I heard Austin say. "Eva Williams" I said kind of rudely. he chuckled. "I didn't need your last name, all I wanted was your first name and I'm Austin, Austin Mahone" he said amused. I huffed. "I know who you are" I snarled. "how" he asked with curiosity. "my friends told me about you at lunch" I said to him. he bit his lip. I looked away and took my notebook out. I turned to a clean page and opened my biology book. I began to write down the lab and Austin just sat there starring at me. I looked at him. "Can I help you" I snap at him. He looked into my eyes and he looked at me with a cold stare. "no but what did your friends say about me" he asked with his eyes softening a little bit. "Nothing" I snap. "damn you don't have to fucking snap at me, I'm just talking to you" he said coldly. "yeah well you were rude this morning" I snap. "that was you I ran into this morning" he said. I nodded and kept writing. "oh I didn't know" he said leaning back in his desk. The bell rang and I got out of there as fast as I could.

Now I'm on my way to gym. I play volleyball and I'm in dance. I grabbed my gym bag and walked to the gym. I got in there I slipped on spandex shorts and a sports bra. I put my knee pads and ankle braces on then my volleyball shoes. I put my hair up. I walked out and we did laps around the gym. The coach called us to huddle up. "ok girls this is our new team mate, Eva....today we have to share the court with the basketball boys so practice will be mostly stretches until the boys are done" coach said. All the girls introduced themselves to me and they all seem nice.

We all sat down and started stretches. The basketball boys walked into the gym and I automatically spotted Alex and Austin. Since when did Austin play a sport? I locked gazes with Austin and he smirked. We all stood up and Austin was eyeing my body. I shot a glare at him and he winked. Alex waved at me when he finally noticed me and I gladly waved back. Alex looked over at Austin and gave him a discussed look. Austin's tattoos were more noticeable because of the tank top he is wearing, he has one on his back but just a little is peeking out on his shoulder blade. We started practice and I couldn't stop thinking about why would happen tomorrow in biology.
