Chapter Three: Sorry

Riley's pov:

I woke up wrapped in Alex's arms. I laid for a moment until Alex greeted "Morning"

I smiled and looked at her "Morning"

We both sat up and stretched "How you feeling today?" Alex asked

"Better, thank you for last night it was what I needed" I answer

"It's okay honestly, I needed it too, by the way sorry for telling you to stay. You didn't have to but I was just so comfortable that I knew that I wouldn't get comfortable again if you moved" she explains

I smile "It's okay. I was very comfortable too. I better get going to my room and change now though" and with that I stand up "I'll see you at breakfast?" I ask

"Sure thing"

And with that I left shutting the door behind me.

I got dressed and went downstairs. I sat down in my normal seat with everyone sitting at theirs.

"Good morning, how was everyone's night?" Henry greets

Me and Alex make eye contact and smile.

"Mine wasn't too bad" my mum says

"Mine was bad at first but really nice at the end" I say

And Alex says "same with mine"

"Good" Henry just says

After breakfast I go to my mum "Mum?"

She turns around and looks at me, Henry and Alex leave.

"Yes?"

"I'm sorry for being a bitch. I was caught up with myself that I completely forgot about yours" I explain

My mum smiles and says "It's okay, thank you for apologising,, I want us to talk. I'll ask Henry if I can go for an hour and we can go talk at a cafe or something"

"Sounds great" I say

Mum was aloud to go to the cafe with me so I got ready and met her downstairs.

We walked to the cafe just asking about random things. But when we got there I decided I tell her about me and Noah and Ashley.

"So mum? Me and Noah broke up"

"Oh sweetie, I'm so sorry" she says

"It's fine mum, it had to happen,  I had a breakdown last night but Alex got me out of it and I'm doing better now" I explain

She smiles "Alex seems nice"

A big smile forms on my face "Yeah she is. She's really nice, she definitely knows how to cure a heartbreak"

"If you don't mind me asking how did you and Noah broke up"? My mum asks and I explained everything "Oh my word what a bitch both of them. To be honest I've never liked any of them so I'm glad they're over. So how did Alex help you"

"Well, she found me in the bathroom breaking down, she looked quite worried, she picked me up and took me to her bedroom and then went to get a glass of water but came back with some bread and butter too. She told me it's the best way to get some energy back. After I had food I was finally able to speak so I explained and she had the most perfect idea, ice cream and cringe movie so that's what we did. It was amazing it felt..so..-" I explained

"Natural" finished

"Yeah...natural."

"Sounds like she definitely knew what she was doing" mum stated and I just smiled
