(This will be in my [Shards's] POV)
"Ugh jet lagged again" I slurred as I got off the plane, surprisingly the airport was so busy at this time of night. I had just arrived back in Japan after a small vacation overseas and at a perfect time...yeah...2:30 in the morning. I head through security and get my bags back to take outside so I can get in the black car waiting for me to get home. As I walked out there were two guards who followed me as I got into the car to head back. I still live in my own home but my Aunt takes care of me about 2 days a week, a lot of people ask why. Well. Truth is, my parents both were killed in a car accident. I had no friends at the time so getting through this pain was going to be my hardest challenge yet. And it was.
I finally got home and I was itching to get back my own bed and curl into my sheets like a puppy dog, no one was home, just me. I got undressed and had a warm shower before going to bed. I washed my face and did the usual, brush my teeth and put cream on my face so my skin wouldn't be so dry. I jumped into be and browsed my phone for a couple minuets checking any messages or calls I may have missed and haven't responded to and finally I went to sleep.
Finally...morning. I woke up at 10:30am knowing I wouldn't be able to attend class today because of my frustrating jet lag. I went downstairs had breakfast, got changed so I could head out for a stroll by the Academy to see my friend Gabe after not seeing him for a while, he's the captain of Rideout. I waited for a couple minutes with my arms folded trying to keep myself awake. Honestly I felt like I could've just passed out on the spot. Finally he had came out of class but he wasn't on his own. He was with a rather short boy with light blue flaming hair who too had his arms crossed just like mine. "Wait a second is that? Lui Shirosagi?" I said to myself thinking no one heard me. "Yes it sure is" Gabe replied. "Wasn't asking for you input" then I returned to folding my arms. "Tch I know you." Lui said to me directly with a confident yet somewhat enlightened voice. "Your the Japanese female champion Shards Shirisago. Wins all her battles. Has won 4 national tournaments." He added "Well who else would it be" I responded with a little frustration. Then he just. Grinned at me. But it wasn't an evil or bad urge kind of thing. I don't know what it was. He began to walk off so being me I yelled "and where are you going!?". "One day I'll crush you...Shards." He mentioned to me while laughing. But again it wasn't an evil kind of feeling, more like a rivalry but not so much competitive. Almost, love-ish? No no no way! I'm obviously dreaming that can never happen especially with his iconic stone cold attitude. I pulled out my phone and opened the camera and I saw that I had been blushing as I spoke to him. I put my phone back into my pocket and got even more frustrated. Yeah as if I....no it can't be....am I really....did I just fall for?...no I don't give in at all...but. Is it true?
