"So, can you finally tell me where are we going?" Draco asked as his eyes were focused on the hand holding his. He and the other boy had been walking for a while now. He wasn't complaining or anything. It just was weird to him, how all of a sudden he had to be nice. It was hard keeping his tongue in his mouth, especially when he was upset.

"You'll see in a few minutes. Just be patient" Harry replied and turned to look at Draco "It's not that far from here, so you don't have to worry." He added and tried to reassure the other. He didn't quite understand why he wanted to help or why he held another male's hand. At the moment, he didn't care either.

They didn't speak for the rest of the walk. One was too busy staring, while the other tried to remain calm. The day was just perfect for some time outside, thought Draco after he finally decided to look around. Sometimes he tended to forget how beautiful nature was. He didn't change his mind when he looked up at Harry. He realised too late what the thing he felt means, but his heart had to get him back to reality by skipping a beat.

"Hey, uh, can you give me that whiskey?" He asked nervously and shook his head, hoping that the light wind will cool the blush off.

He took the bottle and a big sip, closing his eyes for a moment. Soon he wasn't going to mind anymore. It was all going to be alright.

"I don't think that's o-" Harry started to say but then got distracted by something he saw "And we're here" He stated in a soft smile and Draco looked at him confused. The brown-haired had to point for him to focus. They both looked at a pretty spot under a tree.

"How did you find that place?" Draco asked as he walked over to the tree and leaned on it, letting himself slip until he was sitting on the ground. He took a deep breath, a feeling of peace embracing him.

Harry sat beside him but kept some distance between them "I was having a bad day like you. And I searched for a place where I could collect my thoughts. This one was perfect" He explained shortly and smiled "You're the first person I'm showing it to."

"I- Thank you, Potter," Draco said, surprised at what the other said. It was an act of kindness, but why? Was he looking that miserable? He shook his head and sighed "You don't have to be nice to me, you know? We can go back to how it was before" He said even though sadness was dripping from his voice and he was about to cry again "It's okay..."

Harry eyed the other surprised "No, I don't want to be how we were before. I want to be your friend" He said sincerely and pulled the bottle, drinking some of the alcohol. He hated firewhiskey, but if he was going to speak his mind, he needed a boost.

"Are you joking?" Draco asked with doubt and leaned his head onto the tree. He let out a laugh, a cold one, and then looked aside "You were the one who didn't give me a chance. Not the other way around."

"It was because you were mean to my only friend. And then you started being mean to me too. So don't blame it to me" Harry defended himself and stared at the other boy in thought.

"Maybe we are both at fault," Draco said in a roll of his eyes "So what do you say? Are we friends now?"

Harry kept his eyes on him and needed a moment to figure out if it was a good idea to do what he was going to do. His mind was trying to convince him that it was okay. So he just listened "Sure. If you're going to give us a chance" He said and his face flushed slightly at the way it sounded, after being said out loud.

The blond looked at Harry and chuckled some, but then nodded "It's alright with me. Just don't stab me in the back. The revenge won't be pretty." He said, completely taken over by the alcohol.

Harry nodded some and reached over, grabbing the male's hand again and gave it a light squeeze "After seeing so much from each other, you can count on me." He said and a part of him didn't believe a word he said. But he was so drawn to the male. He wanted to get close to him. No matter what was it going to take.

The two spent the rest of the time together. They talked and downed the bottle, then played games and even stayed until it got dark. They didn't realise how time got by so fast. None of them wanted to go yet, because deep down they knew that they're only safe where the others can't see. Under that tree, with the sun keeping them warm.

"Maybe we should get back," Harry said and moved up "We were gone all day." He didn't want to go, staying there just felt right. But knowing his friends, they were probably really worried.

"All day?" Draco asked and moved up quickly. He felt dizzy but that didn't stop him from taking a few steps around worriedly. "My father is going to kill me," He said in a worried chuckle "It's over for me. It's over. I-"

"Hey, hey. Relax. It's going to be okay" Harry said, trying his best to sound calm. He knew that Lucius Malfoy didn't seem like a nice person but he hoped that he wouldn't hurt his son.

Draco shook his head and took a few deep breaths, before moving over and wrapping Harry in a hug.

"Thank you for today. I sure hope that I won't bother you again" He said and then started running back towards the castle. He was dead. So, so, so dead. He didn't dare to turn back. He was sure that if he saw the brown-haired's face, he was going to break. So he just kept running.

"Wait-" Harry started but it was already too late. He started on the way back confused and silent.
