They died. They had Died. Cutup, Droidbait, Hevy. They were Dead. Because of him. That's how Fives felt. It was his fault that they were dead. They had died because of him. And he hated himself because of that. Echo had reassured him that it would be okay, though he could sense that Echo himself was struggling to control his emotions. He couldn't see how his Brother always stayed so calm. The rest of their squad had kriffing died, how could he stay calm?! But he loved his brother, even if he wasn't quite the same as Fives.
Fives often woke up drenched in sweat and breathing heavily. Echo always helped him calm down, but he still couldn't shake the feeling that they were dead. In his dreams, he saw Cutup getting eaten, Hevy getting blown up, Droidbait being shot... Echo had asked him to talk about it, but all he told him was lies. And if Echo noticed, he didn't mention it. He didn't want to push his brother to talk about it... not yet at least. He would talk when he was ready. And when he was, Echo would be there, right beside his brother.
