Paint My World

As usual,I was painting alone. I stood on top of the Hokage monument,looking down at the town. I always wonder about this world.

Why is the sky blue?

Why are the grasses green?

Why are the flowers in so many colours?

I don't understand this world. Why are there so many colours? My world is monochrome. The same repeated colours,not dull nor bright. Clean and clear. Black and white.

"Sai!" I spunned my head towards that voice to see a girl with bright pink hair and bright green emerald eyes.

"Sakura" I said and gave her a fake smile.

"Drop that smile if it isn't true,Sai." She said.

"How would you know?" I asked with my stoic expression.

"It's obvious. I don't know how to explain it. It's like you just show no feelings. The aura you emit I just.. plain and lifeless." She said. She sighed and said,"I doubt you will understand. What are you painting?"

"The town" I answered.

She sat next to me and stared at my painting.

"Why is it black and white? The town is colourful!" She smiled.

"I don't know why it should be colourful. It's just colours. I don't understand colours." I said truthfully.

"There are different meanings in colours you know. Even black and white. And you are in black and white" She said and poked my chest. "It kinda of suits you!" She giggled.

"How so?"

"Well,white means innocence. It's like you lack of guile and corruption. Basically,pure. You don't know anything. Brainless,yet smart. There are many things you don't understand,yet you do. You know it,but you don't truly understand it."

"I'm..innocent?" She nodded.

"Black means evil or bad. And you are so clueless that sometimes you go to the wrong path. Obeying Danzo,basically."

"I'm bad..?" Stared at her.

"Well.. That was last time.." She grinned.

"What about you?" I asked.

"What do you mean?" She asked curiously.

"Your pink hair and green eyes." I stated.

"Well.. Pink normally regards to love. I doubt you know it,so I'll explain it to you." She looked to the sky. "There different types of love,such as love towards family,friends and lovers. It is basically the care you have towards someone. To family,you care for them because you are blood related. The people who are connected to you. A bond that will remain forever. Friends are an act of care that you want to help them and feel comfortable with. Someone whom you share things with. Your happiness and sadness. Lovers are basically the same,but you will have the urge to want them to give something in return. You long for them. You want them and you need them." She looked at me to make sure I'm absorbing everything she is saying. I nodded and she continued.

"Green is harmony and peace. You will feel in ease and makes you very comfortable. Your burden will be forgotten. It's like you will be relaxed."

"Is that why I find your hair so loveable that it urges me to touch it,and that when I look in your eyes,it makes me feel in peace? That I can forget everything in a while?" I asked. When I noticed,I covered my mouth. Why did I say that?

Sakura gaped at me and blushed. She turned away and said,"Umm..okay.. I..guess so..?"

"Can you continue..? To explain to be about colours?" I asked.

She blinked at me and shrugged. "Okay. Let's see.. Red,my favourite colour. It normally regards to passion,which means a very strong feeling about something. An intense emotion or desire for something."

"Just like your passion to protect the people you care about. Pink." I said.

She laughed at me and said,"Yeah"

"It suits you." I said and looked at the sky.

"Do you know why the sky is blue?" She asked.

I shook my head.

"Blue means confidence or encouragement. Whenever we feel down or so,it is natural that we look at the sky. By looking at it,we will think about it and encourage ourselves. Then,we have the confidence to do things."

I nodded.

"Now.. yellow." She giggled. "Remind me of Naruto's hair. Well..look at him. He is optimistic and happy all the time. Yellow is the call that brings joy and energy. Joy is happy. I can't explain that to you.. I don't know how. It's just..happy. Like you don't want the moment to end. Like your problem is gone. You feel like you have a reason to live. You actually feel alive."

"It suits Naruto. Being hyper at all times like a ball of energy." I said. She chuckled at my comment.

"Not only that. His favourite colour is orange. It means enthusiasm. That is an intense or eager enjoyment. Like overreacting." She giggled and narrowed her eyes me. She tapped her chin for a minute and spoke.

"I found a colour that might mean you,but I don't see you with that colour anywhere." She said.

"What is it?" I asked curiously.

"Purple."

"Purple?"

"Purple means mystery. You are a mystery. No one knows what you think about. No one knows your past. You don't even know your own name. There are so many mysteries about you." She said.

"Sakura.." I called.

She turned to me. "Yes?"

I leaned close to her and crashed my lips on hers and pulled away. She stared at me with wide eyes.

"S-Sai??" She blushed.

"My world was black and white. I didn't know the meaning behind it. But now.. You showed me a new world. A world full of colours. I understand now."

I cupped her cheeks as her cheeks turned red.

"Red,passion. I hold strong desire in wanting you. Orange,enthusiasm. I feel eager to see you and touch you. Yellow,joy. I don't want this moment to end. Green,harmony. I feel in peace whenever I'm with you. My trouble seem to go away. Blue,confidence and encouragement. I am sure you broke the barrier around my heart. Purple,mystery. You are a mystery. I could never understand what I felt around you. But now.. I think I do. I need you to help me understand more of this stuff. Pink,love. I think I love you. I hope for you to give me something I long for."

"S-S-Sai??" She blushed a very deep shade of red.

I leaned closer to her and pressed my lips on hers. I bit her lip and she gasped. Taking the opportunity,I entered my tongue into her mouth. My hand at the back of her head to deepen the kiss. My other hand pulling her by her waist and let her sit on my lap. She gave in and wrapped her arms around my neck.

After a few moments,we broke the kiss to catch our breath.

"Sakura,Kakashi-sensei explained to me about innocence. Black,I'm thinking of something naughty which is bad. White,I want to snatch your innocence away" I smiled.

"Y-You smiled!" She said and blushed hard.

I carried her and appeared in my room. I lay her gently on my bed.

My new beginning where I finally understand what feelings are. All in one day.

She entered my life and painted my world of black and white. Spilling colours everywhere. My world.. Has a meaning now.
