I shake my head furiously before looking back into the mirror. I move one arm up and it moves the opposite arm. Shivers crawled down my spine as the other me tilted it's head. "Fuck..maybe i am going crazy!"
After i got done in the bathroom, i hopped inside of the limousine. My family talked about going on a family trip to the royal garden after i got back from prison.
The royal garden consists of one big garden with a palace...only for the royals. That means some of my parents friends will be there with their daughters and sons.
Once we arrived my girlfriend held my hand, "Just once, for me" she said. My heart flutters and my cheeks start to burn. "F-fine...just don't say things like that ...it makes me feel weird."
She grinned and we both got out of the limo. Other royals were here..happy to see me, but hated to see my girlfriend.
They would say things under their breath like, "he should have dated my daughter. What a waste. That girl is nothing, not even compared to my daughters shoes."
It made me feel like I've done something completely wrong by dating her. She wasn't ugly at all, but beautiful. Her parents are poor, but I've known her since forever. We met at a small park...she was still obnoxious and stubborn but i felt comfortable around her. I just turned 23, so did she.
The image of her being disgusting originally came from my family's friends opinion on her, but i saw her touching herself when we were younger..thats why
Since that day, i vowed to not let her get into my pure mind ....up until now.
"This is my daughter, angie. She would love to get to know you better."
I acted like i didn't see either of the women and walk inside of the palace.
Why was she like this? Strange, disobedient, loud, outgoing, and obnoxious? Her pretty face just seemed to put everyone on edge. Mothers and their daughters, competing with her for me. She had not one bit of competition judging by the way these sad women looked.
Try hards, they all looked forced and unnatural.
" Baby... Why did you leave me back there? You know your family, family associates, and friends would bombard me with questions!"
I sigh, turning away from her before sipping the wine I grabbed from the refresher table. Not too long after a sip of the whine, she forcefully turned me around, getting a rise from me.
"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT! You know... Ive thought hard and long about this relationship... I don't want to be with you, you're disgusting, loud, obnoxious, and poor! Everyone talks about you, and everyone talks about me because I'm with YOU! They talk about how I'm a disgrace for even letting you step foot into my family's house mansion. I'm tired of the pressure, and you should be too! "
The distraught look on her face eventually turned into a frown.. Tears ran down her cheeks, hurt in her eyes.
"For all we've been through.. All I've done for you?" Is all she said before a straight facial expression appeared on her face, and her body calmly left the room.
A smile cracked on my face when she left. Happily snapping my fingers, I turn around to walk back down stairs.
"Son, why did your fiancee leave? "
My mom stopped me from walking any further with her hand placed on my shoulder.
"I just needed space!" I say to her before storming out of the building myself.
