Jungkook was driving to pick Junghyun up after school. And just to his convenience, he got stuck in traffic. He sighed and angrily honked his horn, getting impatient, and screaming out the window, "HURRY THE FUCK UP, I'VE GOT A CHILD TO PICK UP, BASTARDS!"
He knew this wasn't going to change a thing, and so he rolled his eyes while he picked up his phone to call the school.
beep beep beep
After every moment he was being left on hold, he screamed even louder, until he heard the most sweet, soothing, sensitive voice he had ever heard in his life. And much like his child, it happened to calm him down instantly. Without even having to try calming down - whoever was on the other side of the phone had already done it for him.
"Oh- U-Um hey...," Ironically, much like his child again, he seemed to stutter... but he felt terribly nervous for some reason.
He heard a cheeky voice giggling from the other side of the phone, "Hey! This is ( Junghyuns School) how can I help you!"
Jungkook sighed in relief but before he could say anything, he saw a green light appear right at the front, despite being held behind many cars, he drove as fast as he could, switching lanes and screaming when the red light appeared as soon as he got to it.
The boy on the phone gasped in fear and Jungkook's eyes widened as he instantly felt very insensitive for not staying professional. Especially to that soothing... beautiful... pretty... STAY FOCUSED JUNGKOOK!
"I am the Father of Junghyun, and unfortunately, I've been held back by traffic and I won't make it in time to pick him up, is it over if whoever his teacher is watching him for the time being?"
Once he had heard the sole genuine voice behind the phone reassuring him.
"Don't worry at all! I'm his teacher and he is safe with me. Actually, we are doing some drawings together right now, and I've got to say he is amazing at art! I don't like choosing favorites, but your child is such a sweetheart!"
Jungkook smiled in pride.
"Yes, my child is quite the talent! Thank you so much for watching him for me. I will be around only 20 minutes, and this won't happen again!" Jungkook muttered
Once they had said their goodbyes the phone hung up, and Jungkook couldn't help but notice how familiar Jimin's voice sounded.
His eyes widened.
"It can't be..."
He whispered under his breath in a more spiteful manner this time.
This light flashed green once more and he zoomed off.
