vixen'paw and dark'paw battle training their mentors watching with pride.

dark'paw  crying over a brown she-cat, and vixen'paw conforting him

and knew that I would do the same.

And it cut me sharp hearing you'd gone away

dark'paw looking at his mother who is coughing badly in the medicien den

But everything goes away

dark'paw is crying over a grave vixen'paw pressing her head against his shoulder

zooming in on dark'paws face as his green eyes dim

But I'm going to be here until I'm nothing but bones in the ground.

And I was there when you grew restless.

dark'mask and vixen'mind fighting in the dark forest

And I was there when three months later

dark'mask shocked at the gray she-cat that is telling him that she is expecting his kits

You were standing in the door all beat and tired,

dark'mask coming back into camp with blood on his muzzle and vixen'mind nuzzles him

And I stepped aside.

dark'mask watching the sky as he watched the starry gray she-cat go to star'clan, as he padded to the warriors den going to sleep.

Everything goes away.

dark'mask becomeing deputy and vixen'mind smiling at him

vixen'mind posioning a bird that dark'mask caught giving it to the leader

But I'm going to be here until I'm nothing but bones in the ground.

vixen 'mind carrying the bird to the leaders den with a smile

So quiet down.

vixen'mind watching the leader eat the posioned bird and the leader start coughing badly blood coughing up as vixen'mind put her paw on the leaders head and smiled digging her claws in the leaders head smiling at she mouthed the words 'so quiet down'

We were opposites at birth. I was steady as a hammer,

flash back to when dark'mask was dark'kit and vixen'mind was vixen'kit and dark'kit looked at her with a smile, vixen'kit chuckled as she tackled him, then back to them as adults and dark'mask is becomeing a leader.

No one worried 'cause they knew just where I'd be.

vixen'mind standing aside watching dark'star on the highledge his chest puffed out

And they said you were the crooked kind

dark'star looking down at vixen'mind with a smile as she became deputy

And that you'd have no worth

the clan argueing with dark'star telling him that vixen'mind had killed the leader before

but you were always gold to me

dark'star kicking vixen'mind out of the clan but before she leaves he nuzzles her his eyes dim as he mouth the words 'but you were always gold to me'

And back when we were kids,

dark'paw and vixen'paw teaseing each other with a smile

we swore we knew the future

dark'star hissing at vixen'mind to leave the clan and not come back

And our words would take us half way 'round the world

a line seprating dark'star and vixen'mind they both looking down at their paws

But I never left this town

dark'star picking a new deputy with a smile and his dim eyes

and you never saw New York

vixen'mind watched dark'star with disbaleif as she turned and padded away

and we never crossed the sea.

dark'star in shock as he cried over his mate blossom'flower a tan she-cat with blue eyes he laid down next to her and closed his eyes

But I am fine with where I am now. This home is home and all that I need

dark'star going to star'clan and seeing his mate, his half brother, his mother but he notices that vixen'mind isn't there

But for you this place is shame, but you can blame me when there's no one left to blame

dark'star went to the dark forest to see vixen'mind sitting their smiling at a dead she-cat that laid under her paws

Oh, I don't mind.

dark'star tackling vixen'mind hissing at her his eyes sharp and dim with pain

vixen'mind said those words her eyes sharp as she smiled as dark'star mewed 'there were holes in you the kind that I could not mend'

And I heard you say right when you left that day,

dark'star flashes back to when he exiled vixen'mind from the clan

"Does everything go away?" Yeah, everything goes away.

dark'star and vixen'minds ghosts watching the past as he started remebering all the times vixen'mind had comforted him but then he turned to her and his eyes dimmed

But I'm going to be 'til forever so just call when your around. 

dark'star and vixen'mind are sitting in thunder clan camp watching dark'stars only living son from his old mate becoming a warrior, dark'star and vixen'mind went back to their places and disappeared.
