"Carin, shut up! I am completely fine. It's just the supermarket."
"No, I insist. I still don't want you driving, even though you got out of the hospital a little while ago."
"A little while ago? Five months.Five freaking months. Carin, I love you, and I know you only want what's best for me, but I am going, I would be fine," I snatched the keys from her hands and raced out the door, before she could utter a single word.
I've been released from the hospital, five months and three days to be exact.
I fully recovered. The doctors said that I have to come back every month to have a check up.
There was hardly any bruises on my skin, maybe a few light scars but nothing, that noticeable.
Ever since that incident I haven't seen Doctor Jared.
I got assigned to a new doctor that same day, I knew it had to do with what happened and I whent straight into sulking mode, it showed even, in my recovery.
But, I decided to not let a sexy ass doctor, hold me back.
"Hmmm, what do I need again?"I questioned myself quietly.
I was baking a cake with Carin, for dad's birthday, since we were his only children, motherless too, we wanted to give him the most enjoyable birthday, every year.
I was almost done, heading for the eggs, I picked up two dozen before attempting to walk to my cart, which I parked a little way ahead.
"Oh shit!" I snapped as the eggs collided with someone's shirt.
"Fuck! Seriously, what the hell is wrong with you?"the angry man's voice echoed.
"You walked int-"
"Zara?"he voice was slowed.
"What Bit- Doctor?"I eyed the man like a savaged beast, taking in his enticing noticable appearance.
He looked ten times delicious.
"You should be more careful," his voice was sharp.
"You were the one that walked into me,"
"Kitte- Zara, it was you. Carelessly walking into someone, then cursing them out!"he said loudly.
Was he going to call me kitten?
I couldn't help but blush, He used that name 5 mont-
"Are you listening to me? You're blushing. Eggs are all over my newly bought shirt and your blushing?! Fucking immature b-"
He was silenced as a little girl tugged unto his pant leg.
"Daddy! Said bad word..."she accused, cutely.
"No, sweetie,"he picked her up and smiled at her with complete adoration.
A brunette woman came running to him, her Louis Vuitton heels, hitting the groung hard.
"Jary! I can't find Madison! Have you se- Oh, thank god."she mumbled, "Mom would kill me of I lost it,"she shrugged.
It?"Ashley, this is Zara, a patient, I help at the hospital, who happened to cover my shirt with eggs, Zara this is my girlfriend"he snapped.
A weird feeling rang into my chest, like an inner tug. Odd.
"I like you," she grinned at me, her phone buzzed, she quickly scanned the screen before saying,
"Uhmm, My mom need's me tonight, Jary. You need to watch her," she said, it didn't seem like a statement, she said it in a commanding way.
"I can't, I have a shift tonight."he whispered, clearly embarrassed that this little scene was unfolding in front of me.
"You have to! My bo- Mom needs me,"she whined.
"I can't, unless she wants to see organs,"he said sharply.
She sighed dramatically before turning to me, with a weird look on her face.
"You, do you have any experience in babysitting?"
Jared voice ran before mine, "Are you well? You can't just go and hire babysitters like that!"
"Com'on.You know her, hell...you know her inside out, literally. None of us can't, so..."
"Yeah, I've baby sitted a few family members, but not that much,"I spoke.
"Good enough."
"Screw it. Maddie is coming to see some organs. She is not staying with her,"Jared frowned.
"No, she'll stay home with, Zoe."
I frowned as she pronounced my name wrong.
"No. I am not making my child, be left alone with this stranger!"
I snorted loudly before rolling my eyes.
"I don't need this kind of drama."I turned on my heel.
Ashley pulled me back making my jump a little.
"Here's the address, Be there for 5:00, You better be there in time to have your pay,"Ashley gave me a piece of paper, with a scribbled address written on it.
She smiled at me before smirking at Jared.
"Babeeeee" she drawled out.
He continued cursing, not swearing, until I departed from the couple.
