Okay, so as much as I love that y'all love Retracted Claws, I'm tired of repeating myself over and over again and so I'm gonna lay it all flat and down so that y'all can get off my back.

RETRACTED CLAWS IS ON A HIATUS

As the creator and the only person working on this fanfiction, I don't want anyone to argue with my decision.

As you all know, I'm the worst at focusing on one story at a time, and this isn't really that big a deal until you take into consideration that I'm not as free as you all think I am. I work 6 days a week between morning, afternoon and graveyard shifts, I'm constantly working and leaving home. Which leads me to overworking and I'm sick more often than not, which also spirals into some other problems I won't get into.

That being said, the stories I do focus on and write, I'm taking all of my free time I have to write. Furthermore, Retracted Claws is by far my more popular story so far and I'm just blown away by how much attention and love it's gotten since part I, you all have no idea how happy it makes me.

But, when people are demanding, not even asking, for an update and pressuring me over and over again with the same questions on when it's dropping, it's a real motivation deflator as well as a pretty solid kick in the balls. I don't want to rush this series, as I do value it very much, so I want to take my time.

That being said, I have no idea where I want this story to do. How to get there, why and so that's that. That's the end, no room for discussion. It's on a hiatus until I can decide what I want to do with it, and it will be written when I have the time and ideas to do so.

Until then, I will be focusing on other works and I will be writing on small blurbs and shorts for other characters and that's just how it's gonna have to be. As a creator who is still learning and has a long way to go to consider myself good enough, feedback is good, but demands are rude. Don't try and force something that isn't there especially when I'm trying my hardest and doing so for free, yeah?

TLDR: Retracted Claws is on a Hiatus until further notice and pls stop pressuring me into writing more of it. I'll get to it when I get to it.
