eight | late night

Jisoo's POV

The bright light radiating from the sun woke me up before my alarm.

The house was surprisingly quiet. Normally Seokjin oppa would be singing like there's no tomorrow.

After getting ready, I headed straight to kitchen as normal.

"I won't be coming home today; it's getting really busy at the hospital. Text me when you need anything love – worldwide handsome oppa" I read.

'Hmm I guess more time for me to study peacefully tonight' I thought.

After class ended, I was on the way to leave the building when I was startled when a hand grabbed me out of nowhere leading me into the janitor's room.

Before I could react, my mouth was covered.

My eyes widened looking at this jerk in front of me.

"Don't scream, I just need to talk to you" V whispered.

I bit his finger in response.

"AHHH WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" V screamed.

"First of all, V. If you needed to talk to me, you had the whole day in class! We literally sit beside each other!" I growled.

Usually I'm the quiet type but lately I'm getting real fed up with this jerk.

"Here" V said as he reached out carrying a film camera in his hands.

"What's this?" I asked.

"It's a film camera stupid" He responded.

Aish okay I'm done with this. I swat his hand and attempted to leave.

Before I could leave, he grabs my arm with his other hand and sighed.

"Look I'm sorry, this camera is for you.. you know for what I did.. in the past.." V said hesitantly.

Wow this was new, I've never seen him act so nervously.

"Can you also t-tutor me? I understand if you wouldn't want to given our history" V continued.

WOW part 2. Who is this V and where is the jerk I know.

I looked at V wide-eyed and my mouth hanging open.

He laughed looking at my face and cupped my chin only to close my mouth.

"Yeah.. sure.. I guess." I scratch the back of my neck while replying.

As much as possible I knew this was a terrible idea. This guy literally has been nothing but a jerk to me so why should I help him!

But the thought of being able to help someone attracted me to say yes. Plus I've been really curious behind all that façade. Deep down I knew I wanted to get to know more about him.

"Okay great! Let's go to your house" V said as he grabs my hand.

"Wait what?! Why my house?!" I yell in confusion.

"My house is too far, and I know you live near the school, c'mon let's go!" V responded showing me that boxy smile.

First of all, how does he know I live close to the school.

Second, wow he should smile more... it suits him.

Aish I guess I'll just go with the flow.

Our walk was by far the most awkward walk I've ever experienced. I kept overthinking whether or not I should start a conversation with him.

I was deeply lost into my thoughts until V grabbed my body making us fall to ground, with him on top of me.

"YAH! Can you pay more attention! You almost got hit by that bike!" V said loudly.

He was still on top of me. I didn't even process what he said because I was too focused looking at his face. His shirt hanged low revealing a slight view of his muscular body. Wow, an art indeed.

V snapped me back into my senses and pulled me up standing on my two feet again.

"Are you hurt anywhere?" V asks.

"Uhh no, thanks I'm good" I say looking down, trying hard to hide my flushed cheeks.

What is going on with me, I can feel my cheeks warm up further causing me to walk faster leaving V behind.

"Okay we're here. Feel free to make yourself comfortable."

V looked around the house while I started cleaning my room and desk.

We went into my room and he started looking through my things. This was new for me, I've never had a guy inside my room, except for my oppas.

We sat down; our bodies real close with each other. Just this small interaction already got me blushing. Aish what is wrong with me. I opened the textbook to distract me.

"Okay so let's start with Pre-Cal first" I said to break the awkwardness.

Hours flew by and I noticed how we was getting really tired.

"Okay I think that's enough, you did a lot of work already" I carefully said.

He stopped writing and his pen slowly gliding down, eventually hitting the floor.

I instantly ducked down and reached for his pen.

As I grab his pen, I also felt his hand touch mine.

I look up and was greeted by his face in close proximity to mine. I can feel his warm breath onto my lips.

I look down and stare at his plump moist lips that slowly turns into a smirk.

I was taken aback, and quickly stood up, hitting my head hard under my desk.

As I was rubbing the top of my head to ease the pain, I heard V laugh at me loudly.

I look at him annoyed.

"You need help getting up dear?" he says teasingly as he reaches out his hand to mine.

I ignored him and tidied myself up getting up on my own.

"You should go home; it's getting late and you did a lot of work already" I said.

V scratches the back of his head looking down, "is it okay if we study longer, I just don't feel like going home yet." he carefully says.

"Oh, uhm I guess sure if you want" I reply back, but kind of curious as to why he wouldn't want to go home. I didn't dare to ask.

We continued studying, I gave him some practice questions to do and I rest my head on my arm waiting for him to finish.

Third Person POV

Jisoo slowly fell asleep while waiting for V to finish his work.

"There I'm done" V said in his deep voice.

V looked at Jisoo's direction and notice her sleeping. He slowly put his head on his arm.

Carefully scanning Jisoo's face, he sweeps the strand of hair that's blocking her beautiful face.

V continues to study Jisoo's face, and softy whispers "yeppuda (pretty)"

Slowly V also drifts into his dreamland.

Both asleep on Jisoo's desk facing one another.

A/N:

I think this may have been the hardest chapter I ever had to write so far; I never knew how hard it was to write cutesy scenes HAHHAHAH. But I just wanted to say thank you again for all the votes, comments, and support that you guys are giving me. I'm still surprised that people are reading my work. ILY GUYS!!
