An Unexpected Surprise

Chapter 11 James Birthday

It has now been about six weeks since the fire and Ana's nightmares were starting to happen less. She still had them but they were not as bad as they have been, and James was always there. Since their first date James and the guys had been busy. And it had been two weeks since they had been on a date. Bella wanted to do something special for James Birthday. He would be Twenty Two Years old this year. Since his birthday was not for almost a week she decided to ask the other guys for help. So she texted Mama Schmidt who told her to bring Ana and come over.

So Bella she was going to see Mama Schmidt for a while. A few minutes after she got there Kendall walked in she and Mama Schmidt had an idea for James Birthday. So they told Kendall about the idea to have a surprise beach party for him. Kendall loved the idea and told Logan and Carlos Who also loved it. So they started to plan the party. They would do it the day after his birthday, so that Bella and Ana could spend his birthday with him since he and the guys were off for a few days. Then the night of James Birthday Carlos would watch Ana for the night.

Finally the party planning was done, Bella started to plan her surprise for James the night of his birthday. She decided to have a picnic, now in the last few weeks she had started to cook some Spanish food for James and he loved it. For the Appetizer she would make Empanadas that are filled with Potatoes and Cheese. For the Main Course she would make Arroz con Pollo. This means Chicken and Rice in English. For Dessert she would make Churros which are fried dough covered in cinnamon and sugar. So the day before she went to the Schmidt house and made what she could a head of time. Since she was spending the day with James and did not want him to know the surprise.

Carlos offered to help her cook. Since his family was in town and they knew how to make the dishes of food she wanted. So the day of his birthday Carlos and his family went to the Schmidt house. The Pena family as well as the Schmidt family spent the Afternoon cooking the food. While they Pena and Schmidt families were cooking James, Bella and Ana were spending the Day at Malibu Beach. Finally about 3:30 they headed home. About that time Carlos Texted Bella to let her know it was almost time to go set up the Picnic. So she told James that she had a birthday surprise for him and asked him to go get ready.

James asked her what he should ware she told him that dressy casual was ok. So he wore jeans and a teal colored graphic T-shirt, Sleeveless hooded Jacket. Bella told James she would be right back and went to set up the picnic. She had just finished setting up when Carlos texted her to say the food was about finished cooking. She told him they could bring the food when they were ready. So she headed back to the house and got dressed. She wore white graphic t-shirt, turquoise pants, and white sandals when the food was all setup Carlos texted her and let her know. Kendall came over the get Ana while James got a quick shower.

Once they were already they went out the back door. James held on to Bella's shoulder since she had made him close his eyes. When they got there she told him to open his eyes. When he did he was surprised, "Babe, This is amazing it looks so good and the food smells wonderful thank you so much." James said. James gave Bella a sweet kiss on the Cheek. As they sat down Bella told James what they had to eat. When he heard the menu he smiled. While they were eating and talking they were enjoying the sun. After they finished eating they walked along the beach hand in hand.

After a while it started to get a little chilly so they headed back and James started a little fire on the beach. Then they watched the sun go down. After a while they headed home when they got home they both changed and took fox for a walk. Then they put in a movie and cuddled up for the rest of the night. The next day James, Bella, and Ana watched movies. Then Bella said she wanted to go for a drive. But they were really headed to James surprise party.

When they got to the beach they got out and started walking after a few minutes they got to the party and every one yelled surprise. James was in shock. He thanked everyone and gave Bella kiss. The party was great and at the end of the night everyone had a great time. As Bella, Ana, and James headed to the car. James pulled Bella a side and said "babe thank you so much for everything. This is the best birthday I have ever had. I am so glad I have you and Ana in my life and got to share this special birthday with you too." Then he gave her a kiss, Helped her in to the car and they went home. When they got home it was late once all three of them were ready for bed they put in a movie. After the movie James and Bella put Ana to bed then they too went to bed. it was a wonderful end to a great couple of days.
