I waited anxiously on the couch in my apartment. I bounced my leg anxiously while focusing on the door. There was a sudden knock on the door and I sprung out of my seat. 

"Hey." Avani smiled softly at me. I smiled back. Avani has been my best friend since I was 8 years old. When I was thirteen I realized I had feelings for her, and now 4 years later we're going on our first date.

"You look stunning." She said offering me her hand. I placed my hand in hers and stepped out of my apartment, closing the door behind me. 

"As do you." We both chuckled lightly as she guided me to the elevator, since I live on the 3rd floor of our 7 floor apartment building. We entered the elevator and she pressed the button to the 7th floor. I raised my brow at her, since neither of us lived on the 7th floor. She smiled in return. Once we arrived on the 7th floor, Avani dragged me out of the elevator and to the end of the hall where the fire exit was. She dragged me up a short flight of steps, and opened the door to the building's roof. There a blanket with pillows an a basket of snacks were laid out. 

"Avani, this is adorable." I cooed. 

"Does that mean you like it?" She asked nervously. 

"I love it." We smiled staring into each other's eyes. We made our way over to the blanket and laid down on our backs next to each other. 

"Y/n can I ask you something?" I turned on my side to face her. 

"How long have you liked me?" Avani stuttered. 

"Since we were thirteen." I nervously looked away. Eventually I looked back up to meet Avani's gaze. 

"I don't know how to do a first date with your best friend." Avani chuckled.

"Me neither." I chuckled along. Our laughs died down and we were once again left subtly staring at each other. We were slowly leaning in and eventually our lips met. It felt absolutely amazing, I never wanted that kiss to stop. Avani pulled away, her thumb still caressing my cheek. 

"You don't know how long I've been wanting to do that." Avani whispered. I smiled before reconnecting our lips, this time with much more passion. The kiss grew much more heated and developed into us making out. Avani climbed onto my lap and deepened the kiss. My hands roamed her body, taking in every inch. She pulled away and quickly took off her shirt, as I did the same. As we continued our moment, Avani's hands found their way to the clip of my bra.
