Falling For Hayes

CHAPTER 11

Hayes POV

       I went downstairs, and made Emily breakfast. Last night she was really upset because Cam called her, and asked to bail him out. I still can't believe he had the guts to ask us for bail money. I'm gonna try to get Emily's mind off of what he said. I'm trying to figure out how to work the stove. It's a gas stove, so If I mess anything up the whole house will catch on fire. I turned the knob all the way, and I huge flame came out of the stove. I jumped back immediately.

"Oh my gosh!" I yelled. Emily came out of the bathroom, with no mascara stains on her cheeks from her crying.

"What are you doing!" Emily yelled.

"I'm trying to cook you breakfast, and I'm trying to figure out how to use the stove." I went back, and turned the stove down, the fire went down, and then I turned it off, before anything got caught on fire. I went and got a pan from under the stove. I sat it on the table, and got the rest of the ingredients to make french toast. I beat the eggs, cinnamon, and  vanilla in the small bowl. I stirred it all in milk. I started up the stove, and put the pan on the stove. I bought the ingredients to the counter next to the stove. I dipped the bread in the egg mixture, and put it on both sides. Before I put it on the pan, I greased the pan. I made a couple of bread’s of french toast. I called Emily that the food was ready. She came in the kitchen. She sat down at the table, as I served her a plate of two french toasts. She took a bite of it.

“This is really good!” Emily said.  “Thanks”  I said  “so what do you want to do today?”   

“Um… well we definitely need to go shopping for groceries and we need to make sure we get dog food for Joey” Emily said.  “Okay well, lets go get ready and head out!” I said cheerfully.  

-------- After they got ready-------

“Im going to go warm the car up” I told Emily “Okay” she said.  I went outside and i saw footprints in the snow.  I thought it have might been Emily when she took Joey out since i won that strawberry bet.  I looked at them more closes and saw a Vans logo in the snow.  I walked besides the tracks and they lead to the back door then stopped.  I ran as fast as I could and told Emily to get out of the house now and to get Joey.  “Wa-” she said I cut her off by grabbing her wrist and running to get Joey.  We got joey and we ran to the car.  “HAYES I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF DOING MY MAKEUP!” Emily said in a cranky way.  I told her about the footprints leading to the back door.  She just froze.  “Emily?” I asked “ y-yeah” she said studdering.  “Do you know anything about the footprints?”  I asked in a confused voice.  “Nope now lets go to the store please.” She said in a weird way.  “Okay..” I said.  

-----After the store-----

I walked into the house and looked in all the house.  If someone was here they are gone now for sure.  “Emily ill be back in awhile we forgot dog food and its snowing and i have to drive slow.. Love you” I said.  “Love you too”  Emily said.

Emily P.O.V.

I know what those footprints were from but i couldn't tell Hayes.  They were from this guy named Jake.  I have been going around and cheating on Hayes.  I know I shouldn't have.  I have to tell Hayes.  As I was thinking about stuff i heard a knock on the door it was Jake.  He gave me a kiss and told me he got kicked out of his house and needed a place to stay.  “Sure i will just asked Hayes.. you cant tell him that we are a thing.”  “I wont” Jake said.  

----10 MINUTES LATER-----

Hayes P.O.V

I walked in the house with the dog food and I didn't see Emily.  I walked into our room and didn't see anything either.  I walked into the theater room had the light on but wasn't locked and i couldn't believe what i saw.  Emily was holding hands with someone that looked like went to our school when we did go to school.  As soon as i opened the door Emily jumped out and her face turned  red.  “Emily!” I said in a angry way.  “Hayes its not what it looks like i promise.” she said.  I turned around and walked out of the house.  I cannot believe she did that.  I was there for her through everything.  How could she does this to me.  I got in the car and just started crying so bad and I couldn't stop.I eventually went to Nash's house and told him everything after that I went in my room and was balling and trowing everything.

Emily P.O.V.

I texted Nash and asked him if he knew where has was.  He said he was at his house in his old room.  I went over there quickly walked right into the door and ran upstairs to Hayes room. His door was still blue as it was when he was a little boy.  I knocked on the door and Hayes screamed "LEAVE ME ALONE!" I barged through that door and stop right in my tracks Hayes turned around his eyes where blood shot and he said "Get Out EMILY i was there for you though EVERYTHING!"  I started crying he loved me so much and i hurt him so badly. "Hayes.." i said quietly "WHAT EMILY WHY DID YOU DO THIS WAS I NOT GOOD ENOUGH" his voice cracked at the end.  "Hayes you were... I'm sorry i didn-" "Yes Emily you did. You lied when you said you loved me because why would you cheat on me!"
