THE ROADTRIP

Emi's POV

The next day, there was complete silence in the bunker. I was sitting and walking around, looking at the improvised construction. The bunker itself was not very well built. Buggy was in a corner looking at me, smiling at me.

- Are you bored? His voice was heard from behind the 3 monitors.

- Little bit. I was wondering if...this thing we built would actually be useful.

- We'll see. If Optimus told us to do it, he has very good reasons. Buggy replied, standing up from where he was and started walking towards me.

- Maybe, but to be honest, I wouldn't like to stay here alone. I mean, all the action is there. Maybe for them we are just a spare wheel.

When we got back to the bunker, Buggy set the receiving coordinates, which Optimus gave us. Two Autobots slightly taller than Buggy emerged from the open groundbridge. The first to enter was transformed into a bright red Ferrari F8 and the vehicle mode of the other was the Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae...

Optimus told me to inform you that here we must coexist with the indigenous life forms called humans. We have to protect them from the Decepticons.

- This is not our first visit to Earth. So far we've been on Heatwave's Rescue Autobot team. Explained the blue one. I'm Blurr and my impatient friend is Sideswipe.

After they entered the base, black clouds gathered in the sky and it started to rain. Sideswipe and Blurr found some comfortable places to sit.

- Well, is it true that Starscream is plotting Megatron's revenge? Sideswipe asked.

- Optimus thinks so. Apparently, Starscream managed to locate Megatron's corpse, which is on the territory of this country, in the Black Sea, at a depth of 5 kilometers. Our mission is to monitor any Decepticon activity in the area.

- What is his name? Blurr asked, pointing to Emi who was playing a computer game.

- Oh he is my human friend. There are three more at the base in Jasper. And those there have an Autobot to protect them.

Immediately the groudbridge was opened and out came Optimus, Bumblebee, Arcee and Agent Fowler who looked extremely angry. Optimus approached his two compatriots to say "welcome!"

- Sideswipe and Blurr, I would like to wish you a warm welcome on the occasion of your entry into the Prime Team! I have decided that you will stay here with Buggy and his human friend Emi, at the base in this little country called Romania. We have a hunch that Starscream would try to bring his master back to life. Our radars picked up a signal near the Black Sea shore. We will drive there!

- Why don't we use groudbrige? Emi asked curiously, as he didn't see the point of such a long journey.

- Because I need a little more time to convince your stupid president to evacuate the area. Agent Fowler shouted nervously. Just then I could hear over the base computer speaker "Optimus! This is Ratchet! The signal stopped above the harbor in the city called Constanta. You'd better not linger any longer!

- You heard him! Optimus shouted turning his gaze to the Autobots. Autobots, transform and roll out! The six Autobots left in convoy formation for the Black Sea. Emi was with Buggy and Agent Fowler was with Optimus. He was fighting to convince the president of Romania that it is best to let the American Special Forces deal with this problem, so that the risk of innocent people dying is excluded. It was going to be a long journey, about 500 kilometers.

By evening, they reached their final destination. The Decepticon ship was just above the wharf in the harbor. It was quiet. The only people present were the crews of the transport ships offshore. - Prime, we cannot engage in battle now. I propose the guard! Agent Fowler said. Emi is mature enough to handle the area. I trust the kid.

- Very well, Emi and Buggy, you will stay here to watch over the area! At the slightest suspicious Decepticon activity, call us! Don't go into battle because you are vulnerable targets!
