Chapter 1

*sigh* "Today sure is a hot day..." Said Y/n as he looked up at the sky

Y/n L/n a male high school student who wore the typical "Shut-in" tracksuit and all, was going outside of his home after shutting himself in his room for the past two years. The reason he is outside is

"... The place sure has changed" he said looking at the surrounding area.

"As soon as I buy my new computer, I'm locking myself inside for the next 3 years," I said happily

Because of his computer exploding

"... guess this happens when you try to play Minecraft with a realistic resource pack and shaders."

Stopping in the middle of the sidewalk, he saw that something was in front of him

[Is that a portal? Am I seeing things because of the heat? Eh, whatever it's probably fake]

As he went through it he failed to recognize that he was now in a different place after a moment he felt as though something was wrong

After looking around he found himself to be in an empty void

"Wha- where, where am I?! Wait, did, did I die?!"

As he looked behind him he saw the portal he saw before and he ran to it to get out, but before he could get to it, the portal closed

"Hey, today is the second-year students' initiation ritual, isn't it?" Asked a student.

"Yeah! The springtime familiar summoning!" Said a cheerful voice.

"I wonder what familiars everyone will summon?" Said a female student.

"Well, they'll most likely be things like cats, mice, or owls." "If possible a basilisk or bugbear would be nice." "But everyone knows that dragons or griffons are by far the best," Was all said by a trio of students walking through a hallway. "That reminds me, isn't there that problematic student this year?" Said a student. "You mean that dropout from the Valliere family?" Said another. "So it's her, huh? The Zero." Said yet another student.

"Louise The Zero!!" They all said

All the second-year students are outside to summon their familiars'. At the moment, a student with blonde hair styled into long, Victorian ringlets was doing the ritual.

Once she finished chanting a small frog appeared on the ground

"Alright, and the next and final person is... Louise! Louise Francoise Le Blanc De La Valliere!" Called out the instructor.

"Yes!" Said a girl

A little girl with long, pink hair and pink eyes walked forward. Whispers could be heard from the group of students around her.

"I wonder if she can manage?" Said a student, "I'm curious to see what she'll summon..." said another, "She'll probably screw up again," said one more.

The words of her classmates somewhat got to her as she now noticed how nervous she got. After she took a deep breath to calm her nerves, she began to chant, and the student backed away.

"My name is Louise Francoise Le Blanc De La Valliere. Pentagon of the five elemental powers, heed my summoning and bring forth my familiar!!"

Once she finished chanting, a bright light formed in front of her. The wind picked up. And an explosion occurred. After the dust cleared everyone saw what she summoned. A person.
