Untitled Love (Monoshin)

Chapter 1

Monoma was already in a bad mood that day. Kendo was bothering him nonstop. Normally, he put up with her, but that day he wanted to be left alone. She and Tetsutetsu could tell something was up, and they were about to push Monoma over the edge. Monoma walked into the classroom with a scowl on his face, making his way to the back corner of the room next to the window. People didn't normally sit next to him, as he wasn't the most friendly person. He still had quite a few friends despite that; Awase, Kaibara, Kendo, Tetsutetsu, Kuroiro, and Shinsou. He was also acquainted with a few others; Shoda, Kamakiri, Shiozaki, Kodai, and Fukidashi. Monoma knew there would be maybe one good part of the day, Shinsou's arrival in 1-B. He may have gotten along with Shinsou best out of all his friends, they just seemed to understand each other. After the cavalry battle they started to hang out sometimes. Monoma was a different person around him; calm and composed, friendly and talkative. He was still brutally honest and incredibly sarcastic, though. Wasn't as scary either. Shinso hadn't seen his scary school personality yet, and Monoma hadn't seen his either. Monoma mumbled something fowl under his breath and aggressively pulled out his chair, taking a seat.

"&%@#$ IT! I FORGOT MY &@#$%#@ HOMEWORK! $@%&!" Awase yelled and punched his desk.

"Awase! Language!" Shiozaki reprimanded him from the doorway. He scowled and waved her off. Kaibara tapped Awase's shoulder as Awase tensed up. He turned around and realized it was only his boyfriend, no one knew that yet though, and breathed a sigh of relief.

"Oh, Sen." He smiled softly. "Just you!" Everyone was confused, why was Awase being so calm and happy, and why did he call Kaibara by his first name?

"I can go get your homework for you, Yosetsu. I'm a lot faster, you know. I can be back before class starts." Kaibara offered. Awase wrapped him in a grateful hug with a smile.

"Really? Thank you so much! I'm so lucky to have you." Awase gushed and squeezed him tighter. Kaibara smirked and gave him a kiss on the cheek, then proceeded to start on his way.

"Love ya," Kaibara said. Awase replied with the same. Everyone in the class was shook. Tokage walked over with a dumbstruck look.

"WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT?!?!" She yelled. Awase looked confused.

"What was what?" Awase replied in confusion.

"THAT INTERACTION WITH KAIBARA, IDIOT!" She pointed towards where Kaibara left.

"Ummm... He's my boyfriend? I thought you all knew already!" Awase fumed. "We do that kind of thing all the time! Dang, you guys are NOT very observant." He rolled his eyes in annoyance. Monoma scoffed in the back of the room as everyone bombarded him with questions. After everything died down, Kaibara entered the room with Awase's homework. Soon after that, Vlad King walked in.

"Hello class, good morning." Vlad King sorted the papers in his hand. "As you know, today we'll be having a new student join our class. Hitoshi Shinso, you may enter." A boy with fluffy, lavender hair and purple eyes with bags under them entered the room. He wore an emotionless expression as he rubbed the back of his neck. His eyes scanned the room until they fell upon Monoma. He smirked at him as Monoma gave him sarcastic jazz hands.

"Would you tell everyone about yourself?" Vlad King said to the boy. Shinso's expressionless look returned.

"I'd rather not, if that's all right, sir." Shinso said in a monotone voice and bowed his head forward. Vlad King nodded in understanding.

"Is there anywhere specific you would like to sit?" Vlad King asked him.

"Yeah, next to Monoma," Shinso nodded towards his friend. The whole class looked shocked, including Vlad King.
