"Y-you what? OH! Sure!" I try not to sound like I'm looking for something to say. I need to sound cool and nonchalant. Obviously, she's a new friend and I need to make a good first impression. She laughs softly. Her laugh is kind of cute, I like it. I try to get those gay thoughts out of my head by writing down my contact number and social media. "Here." I try to avoid eye contact with her. "Okay, bye Heather!" She waved, getting into her car and driving off. Damn, now I regret not looking at her. I check my phone, expecting a notification from Veronica but instead getting one from my brother

I shove my phone in my pocket and grasp the leather steering wheel and turn on a song. I eventually get to his school, Ohio 1-6 school. I put on a Family-friendly  Song for him. I wait for him to climb in the backseat and put his heavy, paint-stained bag in the back. I drive back home and as soon as I get home, I turn on my computer. I have a new friend request.
