Chapter 6: Grinded

      "Anne get a hold of yourself we have to get out of here!" I was trying to get her to move but she just stood there in horror.

      "Why did it have to be her!" She thrashed about as I pulled her away.

      The man was advancing, laughing diabolicaly. He dashed after us, luckily that's not very fast since he's a pretty big guy.

      "Anne come on!" I yanked and she finally moved.

      We ran a crossed the room Carter and Maddi were yelling at us from a catwalk, we climbed up the stairs the man was close behind.

      We ran across the the catwalk only to run into a locked metal door

      "I'm kinda fucking sick of locked doors" I said.

      "Guys we have to jump to the other catwalk" Carter said.

      "Are you insane there is no way we'll make that!" Maddi screamed.

      I felt bad for her, she was just 10 and she had gone through and seen a lot.

      "We have no choice just jump!" I yelled as I took a gigantic leap, I stuck the landing. Carter jumped after me

     "Woooooo" he sailed through the air and lander next to me.

      The man was closing in on Maddi and Anne.

      Maddi did and unhuman leap and almost went over the catwalk!

      Then Anne jumped right as the man swung his axe, she barely escaped. She did not land as good as the rest of us, when she hit the catwalk she wobbled and would have fell straight into the meat grinder if I, the heroic hero I am, hadn't caught her.

      "Quick run" I said. The man had jumped over as well. Luckily I had taken a year of karate, I kicked him back and he went tumbling straight into the meat grinder.

      The sound of the screams, I had become used to screams, it almost didn't faze me.

     "Come on, let's just keep moving" Carter said, his voice shaking.

      "That seems to be all we're doing, we don't know if we're any closer to getting out of this hell hole then we started!" I yelled frustrated.

      "Ya well what else can we do!" he yelled back.

      "I don't know" I flopped to the ground, defeated.

      "OK you two just cry and give up, in the meantime me and Maddi here are gonna escape" Anne said.

      "Ya are you guys coming or what?" Maddi said.

      "Ya, ya I'm coming, because we will get out of here" I pulled my sorry ass off the ground and we went to yet another door, which praise the lord wasn't locked, but what we found on the other side, well let's just say, I wished I packed more underwear...
