Omega gazed pensively into the distance, her thoughts drifting like the waves below. Leaning gently against the banister railing, her expression reflected a quiet contemplation, as if searching for answers in the vast expanse before her.

"They've only been gone for three days," Hunter said, his footsteps crunching softly on the ground as he approached Omega.

"I know, but..." Omega's voice trailed off, betraying a hint of uncertainty.

"Yes?" Hunter's tone was gentle, encouraging her to continue.

"Why did you and Beka not work out?" Omega's question hung in the air, tinged with curiosity and perhaps a hint of concern.

Hunter's hand moved instinctively to rub the back of his neck, a gesture of unease or contemplation. "Relationships are hard, Omega," he began, his voice carrying a weight of introspection, "especially when you are two different people from two different worlds."

"I see the way you look at her. You still love her," Omega observed, her words perceptive and tinged with empathy.

"It's getting late, Omega. Let's get some sleep," Hunter deftly changed the subject, his tone gentle but firm, steering the conversation away from the complexities of relationships.

Before Omega could protest, a glowing ball of fire and smoke emerged from the sky, interrupting their conversation and plunging them into a new and unexpected situation.

Meanwhile, on the ship...

"Brace for impact!" Seneca's urgent cry pierced through the chaos, sending a shiver of apprehension down everyone's spine.

With a sudden crash, the ship went spiraling and careening onto the ground, the team inside tossed around like rag dolls in a tempest.

"Hunter?" Omega's voice cut through the cacophony, filled with concern and urgency.

"Omega, get the squad and get medics to the beach!" Hunter's authoritative command sliced through the chaos, his focus already shifting towards the task at hand.

Omega nodded in determination and dashed off, her footsteps echoing in the chaos as Hunter raced towards the heart of the wreckage.

Approaching the mangled remnants of their vessel, Hunter's gaze fell upon the shattered hull, his eyes clouded with a mix of dread and determination. Suddenly, amidst the clashing of metal and shattering of glass, the windshield gave way with a violent burst. Gruno emerged first, his form battered but resilient, followed by the rest of his team, each bearing the scars of their ordeal.

Rushing towards the nearest figure, Hunter's voice trembled with urgency. "What happened?" he demanded; his tone laced with frantic concern.

"Ambushed," Valree rasped, her breath labored as she clutched her injured side.

The Bad Batch soon arrived, and without hesitation, they joined Hunter at the crash site, ready to assist.

Jetto emerged next, cradling the unconscious form of Beka in his arms. Hunter's heart skipped a beat at the sight, his eyes widening in shock. He hurried towards both.

"What happened to her?" Hunter's voice cracked with emotion as he turned to Jetto, desperate for answers. He gently but swiftly lifted Beka into his arms, cradling her unconscious body with care.

"Boba Fett and Inquisitors," Jetto choked out between gasps, his own strength waning under the weight of their ordeal. Wrecker approached Jetto, gently placing his arm around his neck and shoulders to offer support for his weakened body.

Hunter raced with Beka into his arms, his strides purposeful as he rushed towards the nearest gurney. "Tech!" he called out, his voice tinged with urgency.
