25. I LOVE HER

Author's Pov :

It has been three days since that incident took place and now everything was painfully over. Nothing was left for their lifes to be interrupted by anyone anymore.

Both were still unconscious due to too much stress and mainly because of losing blood. They were both strangers but met for only one thing.

To be hurt simultaneously. 

Jungkook's state was stable as for now.   He was still resting in his bed when the light from the window woke him up. He squinted his eyes in confusion,  like who wouldn't be when they are met with four white walls surrounding them.

As he opened his eyes, he checked his surrounding and his body was connected with wires and IV was inserted in his arm providing him blood and Glucose. He was confused as of why he's here but after few seconds his brain remembered the incidence which took place. He felt better and was able to move freely but still he felt dizzy. 

Sitting on the bed using his arm he saw the weather being cloudy and few thunders were being heard here and there. Just then the door opened revealing the doctor.

"Oh good to see you waking up after Mr. Jeon. How are you feeling?", The doctor asked him.

'Oh i am fine, in fact I'm happy', Jungkook thought of saying but he didn't want to. But sarcasm is rude.

"Where is Chaerin?", Jungkook asked as he ignored doctor's question. He even didn't care how many days have past. He was just curious about Chaerin.

"She is in the room which is left to yours. But you need crutches to go there", The doctor said as he gave him one of the crutches which was in the room.

After he wore them he thanked the doctor getting a glance of his name from his coat. 'Park leemin' Jungkook kept the name in his head as he made his way out of the room.

As soon as he reached the next room, he opened the door to see the fragile girl laying lifelessly on the bed. Different types of machine were connected to her body making her look so small compared to them.

Jungkook made his way inside and sat down on the chair beside the bed, taking her wrist in the process. He kissed her wrist making it wet due to his tears.

Suddenly the door opened revealing another doctor. As soon as he saw Jungkook, he was quite surprised.

"You must be Jungkook? I am Dr. Kim Seok Jin", the doctor said as he offered his hand for a hand shake. Jungkook wiped his tears and accepted.

"Yes doctor,  how is Chaerin's condition now? ", Jungkook asked being worried sick about her. They wanted the things to end but never in the way were either of them will get hurt.

"It's quite complicated. She is out of danger but still she is unconscious. Everything is being kept in the hands of God for now", Jin said as he sighed.

Jungkook's cheek was now covered with his tears. He placed his palm in his face and sobbed quietly. He put the blame on him for the reason of Chaerin's unconsciousness. Never in his life he wanted someone who he loves dearly to get hurt but the fate had different plans. Life never goes on the way we want to because it is something which we have to accept it as it is in order to survive.

 Seeing this, Jin patted the boy's shoulder and hugged him."Hey,  we both know that she is strong enough to fight this and wake up", Jin said trying to calm the boy down.

"Why is she being lifeless when she only got shot in her shoulder? Everything sounds complicated", Jungkook said trying not to break down.

"I don't know if i should tell this but you seem so close to her", Jin said as he sighed trying to find the right words to describe the situation.
