Chapter 3
The day had passed. The Fudagesler building is still busy looking for some clues about the suspects who hacked their control room.
At the outskirts of the area outside the building, Android 101 is not been updated about the incident. She is calm as usual and roaming around with the crowd.
A few meters from her, Kai is following her. He's somewhat curious about Android 101.
'Gusto kong malaman kung anong meron sa eye gear niya. Curious lang ako kung ano ba ang kulay ng mga mata niya. Katulad rin ba ito sa aming mga tao? Mukhang hindi naman niya napapansin na sinusundan ko siya. Mukha namang walang pakiramdam itong android na 'to.' Sabi ng isip ni Kai.
Android 101 stops before a meadow and just stood there. Kai is just staring at her from her back and waits. His eyes are eager to witness something.
She lifted her head as if she's gazing at the sky. It was a peaceful morning, indeed. The wind blowed and made Android 101's hair sway with it.
Somehow, Kai sees someone else besides Android 101 herself.
" How long have you been there?" She twisted her head and faced Kai.
He just gulped and stepped a foot away from the wall.
" You knew?" -Kai
" Not really. Why are you following me?" -Android 101
" Uhh... well... you see, I w-want to ask something. Since you're the only android who roams around the area, you're the only one I can ask." He was really nervous.
" But didn't you see that there is a reception android near the park? " -Android 101
" Er... ahaha... well, I can't trust that thing. He keeps on speaking with many sentences. I can't bear to hear one anymore." -Kai
" Hmm... That would be troublesome for humans who lacked knowledge on complicated things." She calmly said.
" Hey... Don't mock me! I'm often called a genius, you know. I just did something really amazing that the people in this area will praise me." He blurted.
" Did something amazing? And what is that?" -Android 101
" Uhh... Androids can't be trusted. Why would I tell you about it?" -Kai
" Why? Is there something there to keep secret from someone?" -Android 101
" Uhh... Not really, I guess. But I won't ever trust an android because they lacked something that makes me doubt them. And that is my question was all about." -Kai
He smirked at her. Android 101 was just calm and emotionless.
" What is your question about?" She asked.
" Uhh... ano... I heard a long time ago that you androids feared the 'heart' program. is that true?" -Kai
Android 101 pulls out her dagger and pointed it swiftly onto his heart.
" Who told you that?" She said with a serious but powerful tone.
" I... I just heard s-s-someone but I d-don't know who w-was it. Please don't kill m-me..." -Kai
A great liar, indeed. Kai also tries to avoid dangers too.
" I'll let you get off because you don't commit any crime about that. But for your sake, you're forbidden to ask anything about this program. Understand?" -Android 101
" But why?" -Kai
" If you discover further more, it might result to crime." -Android 101
" Where's the crime in that? Does having an idea what does this 'heart' program do can result to crime? I don't see anything wrong about it, do you?" -Kai
" Yes. There is." -Android 101
" And what kind of crime would that be?" He crossed his arms and smirked at her.
" I was told not to tell more about it. I can't entertain your question anymore." -Android 101
" I have one more thing to ask." -Kai
" I hope it's not about that topic again." -Android 101
" Ah... h-hindi. It's about... someone." -Kai
" A person?" -Android 101
" Yeah. Have you had any records about... Nerissa?" -Kai
" Nerissa... hmm."
She paused for a moment. Kai just looked at her with the determination that Nerissa is somewhere.
" Sorry. I have no records. I haven't met her. Is she someone who is related to you?" -Android 101
" Y-yeah. Somewhat." -Kai
Disappointed, he sighed.
" Are you looking for her?" -Android 101
" Y-yeah. But she's not here on this planet anymore." -Kai
" Not here? What do you mean?" -Android 101
" She... she's gone. She was killed." -Kai
" Pardon me." -Android 101
" No. It's okay. It's not anyone's fault." -Kai
Suddenly, a call interrupted their little chat.
" Android 101, you're needed at the building right away," the voice called her.
" I'll be there." -Android 101
She looked at Kai.
" I have to take my leave now." -Android 101
" Yeah. Thanks for your time." -Kai
She ran and disappeared from his sight.
Kai looked up to the sky and muttered the same name.
" Nerissa..."
Meanwhile...
" This is the guy who made an incident inside this building yesterday."
The screen showed the picture of the guy. He was a bit blurry and his face is not really easy to figure out.
" This picture was taken from one of the security cameras. We had changed your mission. Your flexibility is really incredible to be suited in this mission."
" Your new mission is...
... to kill this guy."
" I understand." -Android 101

Woo! Sa wakas at natapos ko din. May Sportsfest kasi kami kaya hindi ko siya natapos kaagad. Baka hindi ako maka-update sa darating na weekend kasi may gagawin pa akong assignment sa monogram.
Madaming nangyayaring unexpected dito sa buhay ko. Anyways, sana magustuhan niyo yung update ko ngayon. :) Kung i-fefriend niyo ako sa FB ko, please lang! Please! Onegai!
