I honestly feel like I've been approaching this subject in the wrong way. Instead of telling people who don't like BTS why I think they're wrong I think I should've started out by explaining why I love BTS.
(Warning: starting from here I'm speaking from my heart, I understand if you don't read everything.)
So let me start over with this, I admire BTS for how hard they've worked to be where they are. Some people might not know but they've all come up from many hardships and trials. Being poor, their parents disapproving their love for music, and even having to choose between transportation or food.
As someone who comes from a family of five siblings and overly strict parents i know how hard it is to go for what you want and not having enough money to buy certain necessities.
Not only that but their music is inspiring and helpful to others. Their album Love Yourself was a start of a campaign for people who struggle finding worth in themselves, international fans don't just love them for their looks, we love them for their lyrics. I for one search up their lyrics because I don't understand what they say which is obvious considering English is my first language. Their lyrics are heartwarming and filled with love, if I'm being honest I know many people who are struggling and found peace through their music.
I don't really care for their vlives that much anymore, but they engage with their fans a lot. It's a known fact that Korean culture is very different from American and it's the same with our idols and theirs. Like many groups BTS does many lives and even has basically a series for their fans. I don't have time to watch them but I appreciate the hard work and effort they put into their music and videos.
Now if you got all the way down here, thank you. I'm not continuing this because honestly, there's no more to be said. I've somewhat matured a little in the past few months and realized that I needed to post this on here even if no one cares. Now that one person who I know hates BTS I hope you read this and reevaluate BTS. You don't have to like their music or even them, but hating seems a little much. Also if you wanna converse your opinions with me in the comments please do, I would love to hear why you dislike them, even if I can't change the fact that you do. :))
