Chapter 3

Naruto's POV:
I wake up early on the weekend. I got up and groggily put on my clothes. I exit my bedroom and walk into the kitchen and started to make some steamed rice with egg, some fish, mushrooms, bell pepper, and onions in it. I quickly eat and wonder what I should do now. Hmm... I should learn how to get to the academy so I won't be late, and it takes half an hour to get there by running... I wonder if there is a jutsu that would allow me to teleport...? I wonder while finishing up my breakfast and cleaned up the dishes. I went into my library and started to look through my ninjutsu books until I found a jutsu for transportation. Shunshin... teleportation jutsu... Wow... there is a jutsu for it... I think with a sweat drop. I summon 4 shadow clones and order them to start learn the jutsu. I look through my elemental ninjutsu books to start to learn offensive jutsu. Hmmm... Lightning Dragon Tornado, Water Release: Water Dragon Whip, Wind Release: Air Bullets, and Water Release: Water Whip... those should be good for now... I noted in my head and summoned 20 shadow clones to work on those jutsus. I watch the clones go off to work on them and I open my chakra control book. Hmm... the next chakra control exercise is Water Walking... I should get clones on that as well as I start physical training. I'll dispel them at lunch to their progress... I think as I exit the house and summon 10 more shadow clones and ordered them to do the water walking exercise. I watch them go to work. I start to do my exercises from yesterday but tripled them. I did 150 pushups, 150 sit-ups, 75 jumping jacks, and ran 45 laps around the lake. I pant while I look at my watch, it's only 9 am. I ran up the waterfall and set my alarm to 12 pm to tell me it's time for lunch. I start to meditate and gather nature's energy. I started to feel a little different. I open my eyes to see golden chakra chains coming out of my hands. What the...? I think. The chains disappear. I focus at my hands to make the chains appear once more. The chains appear once more and after a few minutes they disappear. I should ask Jiji... I think as I dispel my clones and cancel my alarm. Okay I know the jutsus that my clones were working on and the water walking exercise... I notice but then shook my head to focus. I should shunshin to Jiji's Tower. I shunshin outside the Tower. I walk in and past the secretary who always try to stop me. I barge into the room to see Jiji talking to Iruka-sensei. "Hey Jiji!" I greet with a smile. "Naruto where have you been? You haven't been to the Academy in two weeks!" Iruka-sensei yells at me. I rub my head sheepishly. "Sorry..." I say to Iruka-sensei then I turn to Jiji who didn't look very happy to see me. "Hey Jiji what are these?" I ask while conjuring the golden chains. Iruka-sensei and Jiji widens their eyes at this. "N-Naruto those are Chakra Chains...!" Jiji says with shock. "Chakra Chains?" I ask very confused. "That's the Uzumaki's Kekkei Genkai!" Iruka-sensei explains. "Cool! I have a kekkei genkai!" I cheer while stopped the chains and they disappear. "Naruto what have you been up to for the past two weeks?" Iruka-sensei asks me curiously. "Training." I reply nonchalantly. "What did you train on?" Jiji asks me with a raised eyebrow. "Chakra Control, elemental jutsus, physical training, mental training, and the basics." I recite with a monotone voice. Jiji and Iruka-sensei look look dumbfounded by my training. "I also know my affinities!" I said with a wide grin. "What are your affinities?" Jiji asks me intrigued. "Water, Wind, and Lightning!" I said with enthusiasm. Iruka-sensei and Jiji gaped. "Not only do you have have three but you have three rare affinities." Jiji murmur with disbelief. "Well I love to stay and chat but I want to get some lunch. Later!" I said then left through the door. I walk through the village and went to my favorite restaurant, Ichiraku Ramen. "Hey old man, Ayame-san. Can I have some Miso Ramen?" I ask while greeting them. "Coming right up Naruto!" Teuchi said while went to the kitchen to make the ramen. "Naruto! Where have you been? You haven't came to the ramen shop in two weeks!" Ayame rants with an angry tone. "Sorry, I've been training!" I say cheerfully. "Well you should visit more! We missed you! You're our favorite customer!" Teuchi says while coming up to me with my ramen. "Alright! Thanks old man!" I say as I drooled at the sight of my ramen. I gulp it down, paid for it and waved goodbye to Ayame and Teuchi. I walk down a road of the village and came across two ninjas sparring. One was wearing a green spandex suit and had ridiculous eyebrows and the other had his face covered except for one of his eyes. "Whoa..." I say as I continued to watch the two spar. The spar came to end with the cyclops winning. "Looks like I win this one, Guy." The cyclops says lazily. "The score is 49 - 49 Kakashi!" Guy says in a loud voice. What the heck...? I wonder as I see Guy look my way. "Well look at this a young youthful academy student has been watching." Guy says with a smile and walks up to me with Kakashi in toe. "Hmm... if I remember correctly, you're Naruto Uzumaki, right?" Kakashi asks me while looking at me his shown eye lazily. "Yeah... how did you know?" I ask confused. "Everybody knows you due to your pranks, kid." Kakashi says while pulling out an orange book to read. "Oh... well I should get going I need to train on something." I say as I try to walk away. "Work on what?" Kakashi asks me not looking at me. "These." I say as I show the chakra chains. When Kakashi looks at me with my chakra chains, he gaped and the book dropped to ground. Guy looks stunned as well. "Y-You have Chakra Chains!" Kakashi says while shocked while Guy gives an impression of a fish. "Well later!" I say and shunshin home. Alright it's 2 pm... I should continue to train... and why not have a brawl with my shadow clones and learn how to use the chakra chains? I think and smirk as I conjure 200 shadow clones. "Alright you all come at me, no holding back just taijutsu!" I say and all the clones rush at me top speed and I use the chakra chains to start to hold some down. I continued to spar when the sun was going down. Alright I can use my chakra chains for at least four hours top! I exclaim tiredly as I walk in to eat, shower, and went to bed.
