Margaret POV
I woke with my alarm blaring loudly in my ears making me groan in annoyance.
I hate Mondays .
''Maggie! ,wake your ass up'' , I head mom yelling from downstairs.
I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and did my morning business.
I took a quick shower and picked out my outfit for the day which consist of high waisted jeans skirt and a crop top.
I made my way to the kitchen. As I got to kitchen mom was serving breakfast, so I serve myself some some pancakes and syrup. "Hurry up you are going to be late , and I will be having meeting at work so I won't home early." Mom said
"Don't worry I will be fine." I replied. " maybe Alicia and I will have a sleepover so don't worry too much mommy."
....................,.. AT SCHOOL
I arrived at school, made a beeline to where Alicia's car is parked. You see Alicia has been my friend since fourth grade. we met during her first day at school and I was asked to be her tour guide, from there we clicked and have been inseparable to now.
"What's up boo" Alicia called. "Its about time your little ass show up".
"Shut up bitch, you well that I won't missing school for anything" I said sarcastically
"So Mag are you up for the party this weekend, it is going to be lit girl. I heard from Losiana that there will be hot college guys" Alicia rants about god knows what party which I think I might pass. "No, no I don't like the expression on your face" " Don't try and to talk yourself out of this party because you are going and it's final"
"But you not my mom and when did you get to decide for me" I asked with a frown on my face.
" Since am your best friend forever I get to decide for you Mag" she said rolling her eyes at me.
" if we don't start moving now we will make it to class late like the last time Lee" I said hurrying to my first period.
Luck was on my side because I made it to class before the bell rang for the start of the lesson. As I made it to my seat. That is perfect the teacher chose to enter the class. It's was math period and our teachers name is Mr Samuel Hooligan. About some minutes or hours the period was ended and I went to my locker. Alicia was waiting for me when I got there . We were talking about some random stuff when all of a sudden the hallway became silent as the grave yard. Then echo of boots is been heard from the entrance and all of us turned our head to towards the sound. Lo and behold a mysterious guy in a black hoodie made his way to the locker at end of the hall.
He made no effort of raising his head or talking to anyone, he just did whatever he came to do and walk out the same way that he came. Just as soon as he disappears the noises in the hallway resumed and everyone went his or her business so that they can herd into their next period.
"That was weird and I think that guy is new guy around. The something mysterious about him" I voice out.
"Are you already in love the 'mysterious' guy" Alicia wiggles her eyebrows and barks in her laughter as she try to get on my nerves with the stupid logic. I mean who the heck falls with that.
" Please Alicia save that crap am not lo... whatever let get to class" I said irritated.
"As you wish milady" she mocks me.
