Day 1:

Clem left Lee's lifeless body behind.

One of the hardest things she's had to do yet. With her new gun tight in her grip she opened the door leading out to the alley. Immediately she was met with a swarm of walkers. She fought the urge to go back inside the little shop with Lee, even when every bone in her body told her to do just that.

But she couldn't, and the only thing holding her back was the fact that if she did, she'd be met with his body. She couldn't bare seeing him that way. She tried to block the image of his pale figure slumped against a wall, a bullet hole dead in the center of his forehead, blood pooling from the wound. No, she'd give anything to erase that image from her mind.

Her vision blurred as uncontrollable tears poured down her face. She had never been this scared before. Not when Sandra died, not back in the meat locker, not even being kidnapped brought this level of terror out of her. Her hands began to shake as she timidly stepped forward trying to keep her vision as clear as possible. Which meant constantly wiping her eyes.

The dead were around her, yet seemed to be oblivious to her presence, which she was happy for. She had no idea where to head first, all she knew was that she needed to find Omid and Christa, maybe then she'd be reunited with Kenny and Duck as well.

The alley was filled with dead, not the dead that walked but the actual dead walkers. Bodies laid everywhere, those were the ones she passed with great caution, there really was no way to know if they we're indeed dead.

She would rather them stay down, she knew she couldn't fight one, not like Lee could so she'd have to use her gun and that was a big no-no.

Noise brought monsters, that's something she learned early on. As long as she was quite, she was safe.

She continued through the alley approaching the herd. The only way to get to Christa and Omid were to walk through them, with them, like she had did with Lee only moments before.

The pain in her chest seemed to get worse at the thought of Lee, who had just rescued her minutes ago, only to be dead now. She'd give anything for him to be here with her, to be alive so he could walk with her, not just through the walkers but everyday.

She squeezed past the gap of two walkers, one male the other female and all she could be reminded of was the image of her parents. She hoped she wouldn't have another run in with them, seeing them once was enough to do her in.

She walked slowly, moved with them as if she we're one herself. Her breathing got quicker, as did her heart beat, she couldn't help it. She was in the middle of a sea full of dead people who at any moment could turn her into their dinner.

"You're strong Clem, you can do anything."

Lee's dying words we're on a loop, pushing her forward. She kept her eyes alert, using her sight to spot any danger. At this point she couldn't even see where she was, the walkers we're taller than her blocking most of her vision. She couldn't see in front of her, behind her, all she could do was move with them.

While walking, she came across the Marsh House. Her eyes lit up seeing the familiar place. She carefully made her way through the herd until she found an open spot and walked through. She knew exactly were she was, Charles car was right in front of her, just like he left it. She hesitantly approached the car looking through the windows for anything she could use.
