ALEC'S P.O.V.

"Again!"

"Wanda, please... I'm tired. We've been training non-stop for the past eight days. I'm starving!" I tried reasoning with her but she wouldn't listen. She shakes her head and points back to the rink, ignoring me completely.

"Alec, we need to get the triple loop. If we can't then we won't make it to the next level," she commented as she skating gracefully towards me on the ice and adjusted my hands before showing me step by step. I nodded, letting an unneeded sigh before going again, preparing, jumping...

And then landing on my face, feeling little cracks appear on my skin. I groan as I get up and skate off the ice and change into my formal clothing before heading into the throne room, not paying attention to her as she yelled for me to come back. The ice rink was down the road and I quickly sped so no mortals would see me.

When I arrived, the mortals had only just arrived with Heidi. Aro makes the sign to begin the feast and we all lunge forward, taking one person. I see my sister take a brunette, plump woman, breaks her neck, and then sucks the blood from her. I, however, spot a young man with red hair and freckles, standing with an older woman. I grab the boy and pull him towards me, doing the same as Jane, breaking her neck and sucking the blood from his carotid arteries.

I enjoyed the warm feeling of it flowing into my mouth and drop him to the ground once I am finished, smirking at my meal. I look around the room to see Demetri walking towards me.

"How are you coping with Wanda? She tired you out yet?" I opened my mouth to answer when I heard the doors slam open to see a woman with frizzy hair and a ripped shirt and I hid behind Demetri, knowing I was in trouble.

"Alec! How dare you run from me! Because of you and your 'wonderful' idea to run from me, I was attacked by one of your stupid guards!" Wanda yelled as she walked up to me, slapping my hard across the face which surprisingly. "So what if you fall on your face, you need to fail to succeed, and you fleeing isn't helping or your ego! Get your ass back in that rink and go from the beginning!"

"Wanda, please-"

"Shut up! When I was the age you are stuck as, thirteen or something, when I training in figure skating, I got stabbed in the leg after landing awkwardly!" I saw Demetri tense up and glare at the ground in anger at the mention of his mate's injury. "You don't get hurt! So get back to work before you piss me off even more then you already have!"

Aro walked forward eventually and asked for her hand to see everything she thought, only to let go five seconds later from the force of her emotions and how angry she was, and believe me, if she had Jane's gift, we'd all be dead by now.

Aro spoke up warily, "Wanda, if you would please calm down it would be much better for all of us." She nodded and stared back at me, glaring so aggressively that even I was frightened. I have never been scared of a mortal until now.

She walked up to me and pulled me by the hair back to the rink, the main guard following whilst the minor guards continued to work at their posts. I was frightened to see what she would do to me if I left her grasp, so I followed her, making sure she wasn't ripping out my hair.

When reach the rink finally and she puts her skates back on, glaring at me until I put mine on and follow her. She signalled me to continue when I just stand there, not doing anything.

"Go on, practise makes perfect, unless you are a rock," Wanda says, pointing her finger at me and I try again. I try once again to complete the jump, only to again fail and she groans, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Aro! I require a partner capable of succeeding, not this pathetic excuse of a vampire."

"Just let him-"

"Aro! I'm done with him!"

Aro nodded when she suddenly held her hands out in front of her threateningly. He pointed simply to the one person she can never be angry with. Demetri.

DEMETRI'S P.O.V.

I watch as Aro points to me and smiles in relief when Wanda turns her attention. I grow terrified for my life before reclaiming my composure, walked over to find a pair of skates before walking back to the stands where everyone waited.

My angel turns to me and looks disappointed, pointing to the skates in my hand. "Those are the wrong skates."

"What?"

"Demetri, Love, those are hockey skates," she answers and I quickly run in vampire speed back to change and back, holding a different pair of skates. I look up at her for answer only to realise that she is moving away from me, up the stairs and to where all the skates were laid out. She grabbed a pair beautiful black skates and walked back to me, holding them up.

"What?" I asked, confused as to why I can't have the ones in my hand.

"Those are speed skates, Dem. Hand them over." I did as she told and tied them up, stepping on the ice. "How do you feel?"

"Pretty good, actually. They're comfy," I answered and did a little turn on the spot. She smiles slightly before moving further on the ice, practicing a few jumps to warm up again, then skating back to teach me some basic moves.

This should be fun.

I know it's short, but I don't really care at the same time, because I'm bored and have four assignments due this week, and Iv'e only started two. So ya, enjoy.
