It was 6 in the morning Nathalie woke up  she felt weak unable to breath because of the disease that she has no one knows that she has this kind of disease she never told anyone after all she always says

Who will I tell it to? I have no close relatives or any family members knor friends

It's better to keep this to myself she said to herself

A few weeks ago she went to have an appointment with her personal doctor

Her lungs always hurts and he had been coughing nonstop even though she knew she haven't used the broken miraculous in like ages then her doctor went to her and explained

She got diagnose with Hanahaki disease

The Hanahaki Disease is an illness born from unrequited love, where the patient’s throat will fill up with flower, they will then proceed to throw, and cough up the petals, (sometimes even the flowers). One of the only ways for the disease to ‘disappear’ is if, the said person returns the feeling (it can’t be resolved with friendship, it has to be genuine feelings of love). The infection can also be removed through surgery, though the feelings disappear along with the petals. If they choose nether options, or the feeling is not returned in time, then the patient’s lungs will fill up with flowers, and will eventually suffocate.
There is no specific flower for the disease, but it’ll either be the crushes favourite type of flower, or their favourite colour. We can only hope for the patients, and pray that the crushes favourite flower isn’t a type of rose.

She was shock how could she have this disease does the universe really hate her?

She thought since she's already dying from inside and out and now she has this

The doctors suggested her something's to remove the disease but it would come at a cost

She don't know what to do should she save her life or just die?

All of this was too much for her

Nathalie got up from her bed she went to the bathroom then coughed on the sink after that she noticed a 2 rose petals

Her eyes widened she got horrified she grabbed the petals then threw them on the trash and cleaned the sink she took a deep breath and look at herself in the mirror after that she took a shower after her shower she got her work clothes then made her hair to the usual bun she grabbed her glasses then got out of the bathroom

She grabbed her items then left her apartment She got a taxi then went to the agreste mansion she got off the taxi and went inside of the house

She went to her desk and put her items aside she grabbed her clipboard and went to adriens room she knocked then she herd a voice

Come in! Said Adrien

She opened the door and noticed him writing something on a paper then she spoke

Adrien come on your gonna be lat-

She didn't finished her sentenceshe coughed so hard then fell on the floor covering her mouth Adrien saw so he rises to her side and asked

Nathalie ..are you ok ? Do you need anything? Should I call-

Before adrien could finish his sentence She grabbed a towel shove all the petals that came out then put it on her pocket

I'm fine adrien let's go She replied getting up and pretending like nothing happened she left the room leaving Adrien speechless then adrien noticed a petal on the ground

He picked the petal then asked himself

Where did this came from he thought while inspecting it after looking at the petal he put it on his pocket then left his room

He went to the dining room had his breakfast without rushing then he grabbed his school items and went to the car and his bodyguard drove him to school on the way there he was still thinking if that petal came from him or Nathalie

I don't remember having rose petals on me he thought to himself

After Adrien left for school nathalie went to her desk and Started working

Nathalie was on her desk working when she felt a sudden pain in her chest she tried to hide the pain but it was difficult for her

She remembered the stem of a rose it had sharp pointy things on them

The pain was getting bigger and worst than a usial then she coughed 4 petals came out of her then the thorns of the rose were hurting her even more from the inside she tried hiding her face but it was hard for her

I don't think I'll survive this.... she said in her mind still trying to fight the pain in her chest

Gabriel was on his podium when he noticed Nathalie covering her face so he asked

Nathalie are you ok ? Ask Gabriel

Yes sir I'm fine then she quickly removed the petals and pretended like nothing happened again

Then the two continued working

Gabriel was concerned about Nathalie she never acted like this what going on with her he ask I'm his mind he noticed her getting pale she never used the peacock miraculous since it's with him all the time

Is she sick? He thought to his mind then his eyes went to that single petal on her desk

Is that a petal? He thought to his mind he blinked then noticed the petal gone

He thought to himself I must be going crazy or I might be hallucinating since I haven't eaten anything

Then Nathalie spoke

Sir are you alright? She asked looking at him

Nathalie are you alright? He asked her

Did you just asked me the same question?she asked

Yes I'm fine and you? He asked

I've already told you sir I'm alright she responded while typing on her computer

If you say so he responded then continued his work meanwhile nathalie felt the pain in her chest again
