Ever since he was a child (Y/N) (L/N) has always wanted to be a hero and save those in need and now that he was being offered a chance to attend Beacon Academy two years early of course he was going to take it. After all he was gonna be a hero!

Team RWBY was on a train heading to the bullhead station that would take them to Beacon Academy after buying their leader some dust for her weapon.
Weiss: Why did we have to come with you Ruby? I could be using this time to study before classes start.
Ruby Rose, the leader of team RWBY(Ruby), whips her head to Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee dust company before speaking.
Ruby: What!? C'mon Weiss what's wrong with some team bonding before school starts?
Yang Xiao Long, the half-sister off Ruby, also puts her two cents in.
Yang: Y'know she has a point there Weiss-cream.
Weiss: Don't call me that! And what point? We should be prepared for whatever Beacon has in store for us. *She replies rudely, as she was still sour of not being appointed team leader*
Blake Belladonna, secret Cat Faunus and ex-member of the White Fang, simply remained quiet as she continued to read her book.
Yang: Aw come on Weiss lighten up a bi-
Yang was suddenly caught off by the man sitting across from them suddenly bursting into flames. Fortunately the train had just stopped at the station allowing them to escape scot free.
Ruby: What the!?
The four teens watched with tense postures as the Infernal stepped out the train.
Infernal: P-Please...K-Kill...M-Me...
Team RWBY could only stand there as they were unable to move due to shock.
Weiss : W-We need to kill it!
Ruby could only look at Weiss with shock and anger.
Ruby: What! We can't he's a human!
Weiss: You dolt! It's not human anymore it's an Infernal now!
Ruby and Yang looked at Weiss with visible confusion.
Yang: Infernal? What's that?
Weiss: What!? You don't know what an Infernal is? Are you brain dead!?
Ruby: I don't know either.
Blake: I've only read about them in some books.
Weiss: Ugh! I'm surrounded by idiots.
Ruby/Yang: Hey!
Weiss only stared at the still Infernal, that wasn't moving for some reason, with apprehension and slight fear.
Weiss: Infernals are humans turned into Grimm by the second most feared cause of death, Spontaneous Human Combustion. No one, not even the top researchers of Atlas, knows why it happens. Although thankfully it rarely happens it's still extremely dangerous.
The rest of team RWBY could only looked horrified at the explanation.
Yang: H-humans turned into Grimm?
Ruby: B-but there has to be a way to turn them back right?
What little hope that was in Ruby's eyes was crushed by Weiss's next statement.
Weiss: No. The only thing left to do is to kill it.
Ruby, Yang, and Blake could only shudder at the word Weiss used. 'Kill'. Like they were going to put him down like some kind of animal.
Ruby: We can't! He was a human before! There has to be a different way!
Weiss: It! Is no longer human! We have to destroy it!
While Ruby and Weiss were arguing a young man who looked to be 15 years old stepped up and spoke, immediately causing team RWBY to look at him.
(Y/N): You must be in pain. Don't worry, I'll put you out of your misery now.
Team RWBY only watched as the young man walked towards the still Infernal while chanting what seemed to be a prayer.
(Y/N): The flame is the soul's breath. The black smoke is the soul's release...
Ruby: H-Hey what are you doing...
Ruby tried to reach for the boy but missed as he kept walking.
(Y/N): Ashes thou went and art. May thy soul...
The boy paused as fire suddenly sprouted from the soles of his feet burning through the shoes he wore as he sped forward moving between the pillars, so fast that team RWBY barely realized what happened before stopping in front of the Infernal kicking towards its chest and finishing his prayer.
(Y/N): Return to the great flame of fire.
As his kick impacted there was a small explosion and shockwave that forced the people present to cover their eyes. Once the smoke was cleared, team RWBY looked as the boy was standing in front of the corpse of the Infernal as it was turning to ash. Holding his hands where his fingertips and thumbs were pushed together and said one word.
(Y/N): Látom.
Weiss was the first to snap out her shock stepping towards the boy and pointing her finger at him dramatically.
Weiss: Who are you!?
The boy looked startled, and turned towards Weiss with an unsettling and tense grin before speaking.
(Y/N): Oh! My name is (Y/N) (L/N), soon to be Hero! Nice to meet you!
