"Stop it!" A tall but skinny boy pleaded as he was continuously beaten.
"What're you gonna do, you giant? Your height is useless to such a weak person," the jock taunted him. "Disgusting piece of shit. You shouldn't have dared to even look at my girlfriend!" The jock kicked the other boy to the stomach and spat on him. "Get the hell out of my face! NOW!" The jock yelled as the other boy scrambled to his feet and ran as far away from his bully.
He limped to the locker room. Luckily it was lunchtime so everyone was in the cafeteria. He stood infront of the the mirror. He took a look at his face and quickly turned the tap on. He washed his face and wiped it dry with his shirt. He stared at him self and told himself, "no more. Just another year then I'll be out. We'll go different ways and I'm never seeing them ever again. Just hang on."

"Hi, my name's Michael Lorenzo, you can call me Mike," Mike smiled with his hands out, giving a flyer to the new students. "I am the president of the university book club. Come, join us and we'll have great fun," he gave his biggest smile. The new student just looked at him sceptically. They just left without taking the flyer. This happened several times. Michael sighed in exhaustion.
The day at University of Illinois, Chicago was filled with booths and students trying to recruit new students to join their clubs. And here we have, tall, skinny, brunette nerdy looking book club president. "Mikey, if we don't recruit new people, our clubs are going to be terminated," Tim McCloud voiced out. "I know I know! Just wait till the evening. We'll try harder," mike said and left the booth to go around to give out his flyer.
He went passed the frat boys' booth. They jeered and threw beers at him. "Faggot!" He heard one of them called out. "Fucking dickheads," Mike muttered under his breath. "You're lucky I didn't wrap my hands on your neck," he hissed out.
The day passed just like that and they couldn't even recruit any one students. The members sighed in defeat. "Well, it had been a good year. I wish you all well," Mike said and left the booth. He went to the library where he find solitude amongst the books. He went to the second floor where his special spot was, the corner of the last row. There was a bean bag there and he often used it. Nobody ever goes to the library anymore.
He sat down on his favourite seat and breathe in the smell of papers. He sighed in content. He layed back and relaxed himself. He closed his eyes for a minute just to relax his mind. When he opened, he saw a black book stucked out. The book looked so out of place. He reached forward and took the book out.
The book was in good condition though age could clearly seen on the papers. It says, "The Psychopath In You" on the cover. Hmm. "Sounds interesting," Mike muttered to himself. He opened the book and read the afterwords.
"To the person who is reading this book. You know what you are deep within you but you are too scared to let it out. Too scared that once it's out, it's not coming back in. You are afraid to be caught but you really want to make someone pay. This book, are the guide for you. It will show you how to be one but still in control. Enjoy."
Mike had a stoic expression on his face. He did not know how to react to this book. He opened the next page and the next and the next. He was totally enchanted by the book. The book suddenly became his strength to defeat the cruel world he did not asked to be born in.
But first, he needed to find his first victim. He made a list of criterion. Tall, good locking, successful, not from the university, and a bully.
---------------------It was the weekend and Mike went to Little Italy to search for his first victim. He was getting excited just from the thought if it. Finally, justice. He sat at a cafe and faced directly at the fancy restaurant where he knew business men loves to eat. The restaurant had an elegant flair that tend to attract certain types of customers.
Mike was getting bored as he waited long. He refilled his coffee 5 times already. he got up and gathered his stuffs, as he turned, he bumped into a guy and the man's coffee spilled all over his expensive looking suit. "Fuck! I'm so sorry, god! I didn't see you!" Mike said as he tried to clean the spill using a napkin.
Suddenly his hands was pushed roughly. "Get your fucking hands of me, you little piece of shit," the man gritted his teeth. Mike stared up. The man was a bit taller than he was.
Tall, check.
Handsome, check.
Looks successful? Maybe, he had an expensive suits on. Check.
Not from university, obviously. Check.
A bully? CHECK!
Mike could not contained his excitement and smiled from ear to ear. He realized it when the guy gave him a weird disgusted face. "Weirdo," the man said. "I'm so sorry. I can pay for the dry cleaning. Just give me your number and I'll send in the money," Mike apologized. The man laughed. "Pay? You gotta be shitting me. Where are you gonna get the money from? The library? You can't even afford to pay, trust me. Now get the fuck out of my face, I'm already late as it is," the man spat as he pushed Mike roughly that he almost fell. Luckily he hanged on the table. A card fell from the guy. Michael picked it up and examined it.
Duke Caelion, CEO of Caelion & Co. Construction.
Yes, thought mike.
"He's perfect."
