Chapter 9: Hakuna Matata

I was listening to "Boy in Luv" from BTS...I don't know but, I was acting strange since the meditation incident..... no.. an accident happened.

" Are you alright?," asked a velvety, smooth voice...though I had my headphones on..but I could read his lips...

" I-I.. don’t know..."

" Since when the tigress has started to stuck in her own words, " asked the brown-eyed man raising an eyebrow.

Yes, from when the tigress has started to  do imagination about you

"No, It's just some scratches, nothing severe. Hakuna Matata!"

No, I'm not! Can't you see my eyes and read the message in the...

"Hakuna Matata?.."

" Oh, it means.."

" I don’t want to listen...I've come to give some medicine to you so that your bruises get away", he said with a smooth tone and sat on my bed beside me. "You had almost lost your eyesight and you say you have just some scratches. I know you are brave but this bravery will not reward you something.. Do you understand? "

I nodded and he started to brush the bruises with savlon on the cotton. I hissed in pain and grabbed his one hand squeezing it. He then tightened his grip on my hand to reassure me.

" There you go. If you need anything else, come to my room, is that clear?"

He went to leave but I was still holding his hand. " Do you want to say something Annex? " saying this he again sat beside me.

" Am I like my father? There was a meditation class of Professor Victor. He told us to imagine our parents..then. I saw them in my imagination. They looked happy to see me. "

"If ...they were here, they would be happy here too to see you like this... They would be proud of you. Annex"

"And you? Are you happy to See Me like this? "

" Um... No! Because it's almost midnight and you are still awake! Go to sleep!"

" Yes your majesty, your wish is my command. "

Before leaving he turned and said, "Has anyone ever said that you jump like a monkey? "

"No. But have you ever noticed that you smile like a chimpanzee, showing  all your tooth gums.. ?"

Then he gave a questioning look and I said, " Want proof? Have a look " and I showed his photo which I clicked last year on his seminar. "

" You can give a toothpaste advertisement. " I said laughing....and he joined me showing his tooth gums again. "

"It's called an iconic smile. You won't understand... Now off to bed. "

"okay. Good night..! "

"Good night "

Then he went to the door giving me a good night kiss on my forehead. "And yes, you're like your father... Night night... Hakuna Matata.."

I chuckled... So he knows what it means. After a long tiring day, I went to sleep 😴 but still, I was smiling in my sleep
