prologue

Autumn wasn't your usual girl. Dresses were a no, bows were a no, pink was a no, anything really was a no. Autumn really only wore skinny jeans, white converse, and a band shirt. Her black hair was also the same everyday, incredibly and uncontrollably wavy. The only thing that did seem to change for her was her nose ring, which she absolutely adored.

One day though, in English class the new kid sat beside her, and that started a whole new change in herself.

"It is now." The new kid responded, running a hand through his something. It didn't even look like hair.

"You could've sat over there," Autumn said pointing to where the popular girls usually sat. They liked to "reel in" the new kids.

"Eh," he said. "They're not my kind of scene, you are. I'm Harry, by the way."
