DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU!

•Aaliyah
I stretched my arms out to find that I hit a hard object.

I jumped at the sensation and flipped on my side to see my sister snoring in my direction.

"Don't we love sleep apnea?" I sighed and pinched my sister's nose, holding it.

Her snoring ceased as well as her breathing, and she sprang out of her slumber.

"What the fuck Liyah!" She smacked me and sat against the headboard.

"You were being loud." I shrugged tired and unwrapped myself from my blankets.

"Lord, strike me so I can sleep in peace." She sighed, sinking back under the covers.

I scoffed and threw my sandal at her.

"Get up, I wanna eat," I whined.

"So go fucking eat and leave me." She said, muffled in her pillow.

"I don't want to eat alone." I continued to whine.

She groaned, sliding out of bed with pure agony painted on her face.

I smiled with satisfaction and slid into my slippers.

"I'm not cooking shit just to let you know." She trailed behind me with a light stomp in her step.

"We're eating cereal and watching Netflix. You owe me." I glared back at her and she laughed.

"Okay."

I pull out our eating utensils and open the cereal cabinet to show us endless possibilities.

"Frosted Flakes." She smiled, reaching out for the box that I then handed to her.

I pulled out the Golden Grahams and poured a lot.

Unpopular opinion: Golden Grahams are definitely better than Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Sorry, not sorry.

My sister's head was in the bowl, drinking milk before I reached the living room.

"Are you for real?" I shook my head and sat on the other couch.

"You took too long." She shrugged and sat the bowl on the floor.

"Let's binge YOU." An eager attitude took over her once annoying one as she got comfortable.

I got comfortable too putting the show on

Before the episode could even start, a text message caught my attention.

Unknown Number: Rise and Shine!!!

Unknown Number: We need to meet up and discuss some things, 601 Glenn Dr. @ 12. You wouldn't wanna be late, princess.

Okay, I know I gave that nurse my number yesterday, so either she has incredible duality or that second message wasn't from her.

Let's go with the second idea. I checked the time, and it was almost 11:30.

Should I really meet with whoever this person is?

Perhaps someone could kidnap and murder me.

Or kidnapped and sold on the black market.

Yeah, no. Guess you're gonna have to find me, Mr. Creep.

"So, what are we doing today?" Brianna asked.

I shrugged and played the next episode.

"Well, I kinda have to dip out. I'm having a lunch thing with some old friends." She said, standing up and walking towards the stairs.
