"Yahhhh...Worst morning ever". My mind is totally blind after reading her letter. I thought mom just playing around with me because I wake up a little bit late today. Well, maybe she wants to make me afraid but THIS IS REAL!.
30 MINUTES AGO ...
I woke up late this morning since I stayed up all the night, watching one season of Kingdom. I didn't regret it since the drama was so awesome. My head quite heavy and dizzy. But never mind I just continues my life always, so I went to kitchen after washing up but...
"Seo Mi-ah, sit here and have your breakfast". Even though mom didn't call me, I still will eat my breakfast.
I quietly ate my sandwich because my head feels like going to explode soon but still I offered some sandwich to my mom but she just refused it.
Suddenly she asked. "Seo Mi... can you help me?"
"Help what?". I answered her without hesitation.
"Help my friend, work as a maid in her son's house".
"WHAT?!!! No I don't want. I want to help you not your friend". I couldn't believe my ears. Well I have headache rn and I guessed there must be something wrong somewhere with my nerves especially at my ears.
Mom signed. "yes Seo Mi. I'm not asking your opinion I want you to work at my friend's son house!". Her voice isn't soft anymore.
My brain still cannot process what my mom said. I mean wth is going on? I'm still a student, how can I work? As a maid? At a stranger's house? Oh it's normal our boss is a stranger, but.....(sign).
"A lady that came to our house last week is my friend. She has a son that newly transfer to Korea, but unfortunately she has to go to Canada. So her son needs to live all alone here". Mom seems to understand me so she explained all to me.
"Why she suddenly goes to Canada?". I asked.
"Business things".
"Oh I see". I nodded as I understand the situation.
"But how can I get involved?..." . I saw nothing related to me.
"So my friend ask me to search someone unemployed to become a maid in her son's house. As a lovely mother, I suggest Seo In to work there and Seo In already agree". Mom continued her speech. I scared to listen more. I knew my fate was determined by her last words.
"So...???". I carefully asked.
"So.... since Seo In leave home...".
I scared.
"I want you..". She continued.
Ohhhh I was so scared.
"... to replace her place."
