I looked around my surroundings, and found it amazing that I never found such an amazing place. I turned to ask Edward when he found this spot in the tree. I really liked the place, and I didn't have much to do to get down or up either. There were enough branches for me to reach the floor without getting hurt.

I shifted my weigh so that I could lower my leg to the branch below. It wasn't that hard, but if I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing, then I probably would have fallen. The branch held me up, and I searched for the next branch to step on. I wanted to find a way down from the tree, so that I could come back whenever I had the chance.

I was working my way down perfectly fine, but somehow I missed my footing. The next thing I knew I was falling from about 20 feet off the ground. I couldn't believe that I was completely careless. I closed my eyes waiting for the impact, and I heard my screams echoing through the forest. Before I hit the floor, I felt someone grab me. The cold arms wrapped around me, and I slowly opened my eyes.

A pale face with messy blonde hair was standing on the ground holding me in bridal style. "Thank you," I whispered. He nodded, and I swear that I saw him smile. My mind was swarming with the craziest things. Edward or Jasper? I needed to choose, but I couldn't. Jasper was with Alice, and and Edward was getting closer to Bella.

"Why did you try?" Jasper asked.

"I was trying to find a way to get down, so I could come back and visit this place," I answered.

"Crystal, please try to stay safe," Jasper said.

"Jasper, I try, but I want you to know that everything I do becomes a mess. If you want me not to have any problems, I would probably need a babysitter," I replied.

"Maybe, I should be the one to look after you," Jasper teased.

"I would like that," I played along.

I was still in his arms, and we zoomed through the forest toward the Cullens' house. Edward wasn't in the tree anymore. What was up with him? Every time I was with Jasper, Edward was always leaving or just acted terrible, and vice versa. We reached the door of the house, and opened it we slipped quickly through the door and to his room.

"I don't want to do anything inappropriate," I said. Jasper smiled, and just replied, "Nothing inappropriate is going to happen, just showing you my room." I panned the room, and I wanted to just sit there. Jasper's room has no bed, but it had a couch that he used to lay down and read. I couldn't believe that I was in Jasper's room.

"No bed?" I asked.

"Vampires don't really sleep," he answered.

I walked around the room, it wasn't that different from my room. It had some bookshelves, and a couch in which he was able to sit and read the books. Jasper was walking around the room, and pulled open the drawer in the far corner of his room, and took a small box out of it. Walking over to me, I stared at the little box in his hand. With the speed that I so barely recognized he appeared behind me, and opened the box with a small click.

In his hands sat a beautiful silver heart-shaped locket with a baby blue diamond heart in the middle. He slipped the necklace around my neck, and I heard the clasp slip into place. "This belonged to my original mother. She gave it to me right before I was off to war. It was suppose to be for the one I loved, but never loved anyone more than Alice," Jasper answered. Some part of his answer moved me, but another made me unclasp the necklace from my neck, and place it on the couch.

I was in such a terrified phase, I ran out Jasper's bedroom door, and made my way to the front door. I should have known it was to good to be true. I was falling for him, but he was already with someone. I couldn't stop thinking about that, and then I started to wonder why he gave me the necklace instead of Alice. I didn't want to think about it. Running through the forest, I looking for the way home. This place had to be isolated because of the Cullens' secret.

We can sense you are feeling heartbreak, we can help you through the forest. Keep going forward, and you'll bump into another you trust. I followed the advice, and I ran through trying to find the person that they were trying to tell me to find. I felt the tears in my eyes, but I held them back. I saw him, he was staring at me, and walked towards him, and he enveloped me in an enormous embrace.

"What's wrong?" Jacob asked.

"I got myself in a situation that I wish I hadn't," I replied.

"No details, well, it's your life I won't intrude," Jacob joked.

"I'm sorry, but I don't want to talk about it," I answered.

"You don't have to," Jacob replied.

We were still held in an embrace, but pulled back a bit. I wasn't in the mood to have another problem with another guy. Especially since my heart was just torn into small bits just a couple minutes ago. Jacob seemed so careful around me, and his skin temperature was the opposite of the vampires. He was like being next to a warm fire.

I was tired, and didn't realize that I had cut myself across my leg o my way here. "What happened to you?" Jacob asked. I looked down, and saaw the blood dripping down from the wound. It wasn't as bad as the wound in which cut into myself with the stick to help Jasper. Now, I'll be easier for any of the Cullens' to find me if they smeeled my blood along the forest floor. My leg was getting weak, but didn't want to show pain.

"I don't know. Can't you help me find my way home?" I said. He looked at me, and then nodded. As he started to walk, I took one step forward, the weight on my wounded leg made me let out a wimper. "You aren't alright," Jacob said, turning around. "Yes I am," I replied with a strained voice. He walked up from behind me, and lifted me off the ground. "I don't need your help," I whispered. He eyes were looking at me sternly. "Close your eyes, and rest. We'll be a your house soon," Jacob said. I did as I was told.

When I woke up, I was laying on my bed in my dad's house with a bandage around my wound. I was still in a bit of pain, so I didn't try to get up. I was just laying on my bed comfortably when Bella came in with a breakfast tray. "Hey, you okay?" Bella asked. I looked in her eyes, they were filled with concern. "Yeah, now I am," I replied.

"Well, here's some breakfast," Bella said placing the tray on my nightstand.

"Thank you," I said.

I wasn't very hungry, so when Bella left I just lay on my bed trying not to think about my love life, which was a terrible thought.

A/N:

Dear readers,

I've only been posting once in a while now due to school work. Anyway I've started the scene in which Crystal and Jacob are going to start to bond, but I also added some cute little parts with Jasper and Crystal even though that did end up being very upsetting at the end.

The next chapter will have more Jacob and Crystal bonding, but for now I hope you enjoyed this chapter. I'll try to post more than one chapter a week, but the mostly won't happen, so don't get your hopes up. Anyway I may start to write another book that is a Harry Potter and Twilight Crossover. I need a title. Please vote, comment/review, and fan me!

Sincerely,
