Watching
I watch the way you respond to others
I watch while you talk to others
I watch, as you stand oblivious to my presence
Waiting
I wait for you to finally talk to me
I wait to hear my name on your lips
I wait for you to say that you know who I am
I wait for you to maybe decide I’m worth your time
I wait for you to realize that
When you see me
I always do the same
Sitting, watching, waiting
While time passes by
Hoping that one day
